• Ensure team follows standard operating procedures for all operational functions.
• Conduct regular meetings with team to discuss about issues, concerns, updates etc.
• Ensure that all available assets are operating on its prescribed efficiency, output and capability.
• Machinery and equipment, including stationary recycling equipment, are performed in compliance with the Company’s safety and all federal and state regulations.
• Review the plans and programs of environmental conservation and pollution prevention and participate in the development and achieved compliance with instructions of HSE

1) Lead all activity related to achieving packing & packaging process objectives under the aspects of quality, quantity, efficiency and cost.
2) Responsible for running the mechanical maintenance process of conveyors
3) Scope of working responsibility starts from the exit of lehr until delivery of packed final product to company warehouses.
4) Warrants quality of packing material and plastic bags, and is able to carry out fast corrective actions in case of any packing quality deviation during the packing process
5) Responsible for proper & Economic use of packaging material (wooden pallets, cartoon, stripes, etc..) to control consumption and losses rates and work on their improvement to reduce costs
6) Warrants cleanliness and tidiness of packing area and equipment to ensure smooth flow of production
7) Manages all operations related to palletizer machines, shrink-wrapping machines, forklifts, lifts and strapping machines
8) Manages smooth running of production lines and monitors down time rates. Able to respond quickly in case of line stoppage to prevent production losses
9) Coordination of production schedule with all departments concerned with production operations and staying regularly updated with any changes in the schedule
10) Manages and supervises the department document control process
11) Develop an effective training plan for all department staff members and ensure its execution and conducts awareness and on the job training for the core team
12) Coordinate line activity with peripheral services (maintenance, purchasing, warehouses & logistics)
13) Ensures the appropriate and fair execution of the performance appraisal process among the Packing department staff
14) Ensures effective communication and coordination among the packing section staff within the department and with other departments
15) Ensures that all the department expenses are within the range of the departmental budget

1) Member of Plant Leadership Team, Participate in Furnaces Rebuild ( Steel Structure - Reposition the Fore hearth and Raw Material Silo)
2) Supervises plant maintenance personnel for all Glass Conveyors (Single Lines ) + Inspection Machines ( VIB & VIC & MCAL II ) + Palletizers + Cold End Coating Units.
3) Participate in Objectives Setting, Plan Development and Performance Review of plant performance.
4) Initiates, Implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices in Glass industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and Preventive/Predictive Maintenance.
5) Monitors the Spare Parts use and Warehouse spare parts, Maintenance Supplies, and Equipment and Initiates Reordering when Necessary.
6) Prepares Reports, Analyzes Data, and Makes Recommendations for Improving Plant Operations and Solving maintenance-related problems.
7) Establishes and Maintains a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for Tracking Work Orders, Spare Parts, and Maintenance History of Plant Equipment, the System provide the Engineer with all of the Information that is Required to Make Better Decisions
8) Initiates and carries out projects that Improve Efficiency and/or reduce Operating costs.
9) Maintains Safety, Health, and Environmental Policies and procedures.
10) Coordinates Activities with Plant Operations Departments.
11) Implements Programs and procedures required to ensure Plant Cleanliness.
