I led the preconstruction of a new sports complex with swimming pool for Cardiff Metropolitan University. My role
involved leading the design consultants to RIBA Stage 4, whilst scoping and pricing packages against a cost plan to reach a

I led the delivery of a mixed use community Hub which included a 25m swimming pool on behalf of Cardiff County
Council from pre-construction through to commissioning, handover and successful sign off of the 12 month defect liability

requirements and provide a Target Cost to enter contract with the client. I then led the project team through the 61-week

I led the technical delivery of the redevelopment of Bristol Royal Infirmary which included a brand new ward mixed use
ward block, helipad and refurbishment of the existing hospital. I was responsible for leading and managing all logistical,
technical and quality activities on the project from the Outline Business Case to Full Business Case and then on to construction.
I had a team of 12 Engineers working directly for me together with a large consultant design team to whom I provided functional
guidance and subsequently assured the engineering integrity and stability of the works. In light of my significant involvement in
the OBC and FBC submissions I could build solid client relationships that assisted in the successful delivery of the scheme. My
performance on the project lead to me being selected for the Laing O'Rourke Young Guns programme.
