gulf power & marine
Total years of experience :8 years, 1 Months
This job was as per my University requirement of Internship for a period of 3 months. The first month, I completed at the above mentioned company where I was involved in the major engine overhaul of a Saudi border guard border patrol fast boat.
I worked as an assistant engineer in a team of 4 individuals who assessed the engine and made an engineering report of the possible causes to the engine seizure.
The second part of my internship (2 months), I worked in the same company and was exposed to various mechanical systems and their routine maintenance where I was able to understand and assess these systems.
I have currently completed my degree and awaiting graduation on Oct 16 I have managed to successfully complete a Journal paper with my partner, Dr Saad Kashem. The paper named: Comparision of Different Energy Saving lights using Solar panels is currently awaiting approval after an assessment of its content was made last month. The publishers have agreed to publish it upon correction of minor errors/mistakes in the paper. It is due to be published in the Journal: Frontiers of Energy soon. I have also managed to complete 3 months internship at Khalifa A. Algosaibi Diving and Marine Services in Dammam, Saudi Arabia and was presented with the completed letter. I have several certificates of participation in various humanitarian efforts and volunteerism in the past. I have also managed to get a recommendation letter from my supervisor/partner, Dr. Saad Kashem, a lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus.
