Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directly reporting to BHC Operations Manager
• Provides technical support to all BHC projects (both external and internal) which is not limited to construction methods, logistics, temporary works, shop drawings, RFI’s and all related requests from the Project Managers
• Responsible for the coordination of BHC Technical Engineers, BIM coordinators, architects, planning engineers, construction managers, head office department managers for ARP projects which involves design, value engineering, tendering and acquisition of new projects.
• In charge for the coordination to local authorities (DEWA/DM/TRAKHEES/TECOM) in securing the necessary approval during project execution
• Represents the company for the coordination with project consultant to secure approval for the shop drawings, design notes, RFI, method statement and other related documents that requires official submission.
• Conducts interview for the recruitment of technical staff to be deployed to head office and project sites.
• Coordinate with BHC Planning Manager for the most effective building construction sequence to satisfy the prescribed contract time and budget.
• Coordinate with the BHC Procurement department for the finalization and awarding of related work items for subcontractors.
• Coordinate with the BHC Contracts department for the preparation and submission of due claims for variation of work items and delays encountered during the project execution.
• Coordinate with the BHC Estimation Manager for issues related to tendering and project acquisition. Responsible for the applicable construction methodology that will be considered in the presentation, pricing and final negotiation with the client.
• Coordinate with the BHC Quality Manager for the full implementation of the company’s approved Quality Management Systems.
• Coordinate with the BHC HSE Manager for issues related to logistics and safety during the execution of projects (scaffoldings, loading platforms, hoists, workers and equipment access, etc.)
