working knowledge and experience working on telecommunications projects including, site selection, lease negotiations with property owners and/or managers to secure and finalize entry & testing agreements, license and lease agreements, amendments to existing agreements, as well as coordinating environmental, regulatory and municipal approvals
Planning and designing of Telecommunicatio networks such as SDH/PDH/ Native Ethernet / IP
Microwave and fiber optics solutions.
- Engineer on duty 24 hour shift at the Network operation Center NOC Monitoring network
performance and document issues, troubleshoot problems remotely using NMS tools, provide support
for field teams to resolve any system faults.
- Provisioning, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of telecommunication systems of multi
vendors for Hybrid Microwave links, and ADD/DROP Multiplexers of SDH/PDH, network elements.
- Implementation of LAN, VLANs, WAN, Layer 2 networks, and perform calculations of SLA, for
bandwidth utilization and optimum network performance, to meet customer needs.
- Use Microwave / Fiber Optics network as backhaul for transmission of CCTV video, VoIP, IP PHONE,
TETRA solutions.
- Prepare reports and Design Schemes using design software. Documentation of all duties and
completed work. Report to the department head daily, with a formal technical report.
- WL Commissioning, integration, troubleshooting, expansion, and testing with different configurations
