Planning, organizing, implementation inspection program and budgeting of in service inspection and shutdown inspection of facilities in Oil and Gas.
Carryout on-stream condition monitoring of plants and QA/QC of all maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Conduct internal, external planned & unplanned inspections on all static equipment/facilities (columns, drums, Separators, heat exchangers, Pressure vessels, flares, tanks and piping) and to compiles written reports on its findings and recommendations puts in repair recommendations to user departments.
Painting and blasting Inspection for Equipment, Storage tanks, Pipeline, Piping & Structural work in Onshore.
Co-ordinate with NDT group after determining the appropriate NDT method applicable to assess the equipment condition.
Work with minimum supervision following all company safety procedures, standards and regulations.
Issue inspection work sheets with repair procedures and testing requirement confirming to approve welding procedures which are made in line with the Engineering. Standards & International Standards.
Maintain inspection files, keep records up-to-date.
Identify the type of corrosion/deterioration to the equipment or piping & initiate appropriate monitoring methods in consultation with Process & Corrosion Groups.
Anticipate equipment & piping retirements and initiate appropriate steps of renewal.
Inspects and assesses the condition of Plant fixed equipment at the required frequency, in accordance with the Company’s construction and inspection code i.e ASME, API, AWS, and compiles written reports on his findings and recommendations, puts in repair recommendations to assigned Departments.
Checks and approves structure modifications associated with plant and equipment in accordance with the Company’s procedures for such work.
Provides a workshop inspection service for overhaul of pressure safety valves, pipe work and structural work, fabrication, etc. including hardness testing, crack detection and radiographic examinations as quality control.
Advises and recommends required repairs or replacements to defective plant and equipment and carries out further inspections after repair work to ensure conformity to approved standards and codes.
Sets up and co-ordinates with Plant for implementing and maintaining health and safety regulations applicable to use Radioactive material
Inspection during Fabrication of Storage Tanks, Pressure vessels, Piping, Pipeline and Risers
Witnessing Relief valve setting, testing and maintaining records.
Review and approval of QCP, WPS and witnessing PQR &WPQ for various projects.
Witnessing of hydro and pneumatic tests
Witnessing the calibration of relief valves and pressure vacuum valves.
Preparation of work packs for baseline inspection and in-service inspection of Equipment, Piping & Pipelines and general shutdown inspection.
Preparation of Quality control work pack for plant modification/repair works.
Review and evaluation of all NDT / Ultrasonic Thickness reports and recommend for repair, replacement or de-rating of equipment and piping.
Evaluation of corroded piping and pipe lines to determine its remaining strength.
Calculate the corrosion rate, remaining life in order to fix the inspection frequency.
Interface with Maintenance Dept. on a daily basis to ensure required maintenance inspection is completed as per inspector’s recommendations.
Inspection of Valves for its corrosion and erosion and other accessories during shutdown.
Organize UT corrosion survey, Review of NDT films of Profile radiography and endorsement of NDT reports.
Witnessing of pressure relief valves and pressure vacuum valves.
Preparation of WPS, conducting welding procedures qualification and witnessing WPQ for various projects.
