Commercial Purposes, examining appropriate records and documentation, reviewing all
relevant processes and systems internally and externally and reporting findings to
management using NORKOM application program.
Timely disposal of the Regulator’s and the FIU’s quires and requirements.
Preparing, organizing and insuring the compliance level of the Doha Bank Share Holders
Annual General Meetings / Extra Ordinary General Meetings and keep the records and
minutes in the Compliance Department’s Books and provide the necessary reports and
summaries to QCB & Ministry of Commerce and Economy.
Prepare the (RCMAR) Recovery & Collection Monthly Achievement Report that shows the
Bank’s Legal, Recovery & Collection, and Field Recovery Departments performance which
is presented to the Chairman and the Board of Directors.
Utilize available financial crime detection systems and tools to undertake data-mining
activities to enhance pro-active identification and detection of ML\TF.
Making sure that each customer is marked as (Low, Medium or High) properly on the
Compliance & AML / CFT Risk Matrix.
Monitoring International transactions (i.e. LG/LC/SWIFT/Inward & Outward Remittances)
and advising different business units on AML/CFT/National & International Sanctions
related issues.
Investigate and analyze cases of Money Laundering, Personal Accounts Used for
Commercial Purposes and Sanctions, examining appropriate records and documentation,
reviewing all relevant processes and systems internally and externally and reporting
findings to management using NORKOM application program.
Participate in the task of offline bank’s customer’s database screening against world check
on daily basis using NORKOM application and perform detailed analysis and advice the
branch’s in case of online new customer’s screening against World-Check in cases of exact
matches hits.
Respond & review to the AML Questionnaires for new relationship with financial Institutions
(RMA / Nostro / Vostro) and annual AML Questionnaires reviewing exercise for the existing
RMA, Exchange Houses & Western Union.
Train the branches’ staff and new comers on Compliance / AML & CFT policies and
procedures along with the World Check reviewing process.
Assist the Senior Management to ensure that:
- Devising & amending Compliance Policy & Procedures with addresses International
Sanctions.
- Formulating ‘Quarterly Report’ for onward submissions to the QCB.
- MLR and Suspicious Transaction Monitoring procedures and protocols are adhered to.
- Provide monitoring and reporting on any changes in local laws and practices relating
to the management of suspicious transactions.
- Recommend investigations and submit suspicious monitoring reports to AML
Manager.
