As PMV manager, my responsibility includes the following tasks:
- Manage company PMV department to achieve its target in maintaining high availability levels for all company PMV assets.
- Implement and develop effective operation processes considering budget, quality and safety.
- Establish key performance indicators to assess regularly the performance of PMV department.
- Supervise the procurement process of spare parts, consumables, lubricants, tires and tools.
- Setting up central and project stores with controlled inventories.
- Provide technical support for all staff and ensure the availability of all technical information, documents and tools.
- Developing procedures for the assessment and deployment of drivers and operators, maintaining availability levels commensurate with work requirements.
- Ensure the recruitment of highly skilled administrative/ technical staff and workers to streamline the workflow at all levels.
- Develop annual budget and manage expenses within the approved budget.
- Provide group subsidiaries with the required level of support to enhance their efficiency.
- Develop and update internal hire rates for all company equipment and vehicles, evaluate the need for external hire of equipment .
- Maintaining updated logs for all company equipment/vehicles assets and updating their annual market and book values
- Recommending equipment acquisitions/disposal along with the evaluation of all relevant technical and financial offers.

Carry out technical and cost studies related to plant operations.
Plans and implements maintenance programs.
Monitors the implementation of plant procedures and systems to ensure compliance with company norms.
Supervises and controls maintenance and upgrading of plant and equipment to ensure optimum utilization and availability.
Prepares technical studies to support recommendations.
Provides technical support to subordinates, delegating authorities when appropriate.
Plans and schedules spare parts orders and maintain inventory control.
Negotiates local hire of equipment and sets up agreements with third parties.
Maintains safe work environment in compliance with company and project safety rules and standards.
Implements the safety, health and environment (EHS) regulations for plant and vehicle operations to ensure compliance with EHS standards, ensuring work is done within EHS practice norms.
Monitors the mobilization and demobilization of equipment in accordance with project overall requirements and schedule.
Coordinates and follows up for internal and external audits.

Duties include managing and directing large group of technical and administrative staff as well as huge fleet of construction equipment, trucks and maintenance facilities within remote regions, providing engineering support to ensure optimal performance of machinery and workshops in all projects, scheduling and implementing progressive work practices for equipment utilization, manpower management for all administrative, technical staff belonging to central and branch workshops, negotiating leasing contracts, scheduling preventive maintenance programs, controlling spare parts inventory and coordinating the transport operations (supply chain) within projects sites, all being done in computerized environment within a system in which the main goals are time saving with high profitability.
duties include as part of CIC products support strategy, liaising with principles, planning the general scheme of work, Initiate and coordinate development and implementation of marketing plans as needed, supervising equipment receipt and delivery, following up repairs and manpower, scheduling preventive maintenance programs and spare parts orders, training of staff, preparing leasing contracts and equipment appraisal forms in trade in deals, controlling budget of service department and used machinery section, meeting financial targets by implementing effective operational and marketing plans, being responsible to technically support complete line of construction equipment products, prepare quotations, warranty claims and bidding for tenders all being done in computerized environment.
Duties include supervising service and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment (engines, power trains, hydraulic systems, electrical systems) of construction machinery of brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Kawasaki…etc. and trucks (Mercedes, Volvo, Nissan Diesel). Duties include trouble-shooting, supervising general repairs and field jobs for a wide range of trucks, material handling equipment and construction machinery, scheduling of service programs, coordinating equipment reception and delivery and preparing repair orders and appraisal forms.
