In addition to construction and management responsibilities I have engineering & procurement responsibilities which include but not limited to:
Ensure that engineering and shop drawing schedule is working in coordination and early ahead of construction schedule. Daily follow up shop drawing approval process. Coordinate with procurement department to ensure material delivery on time and as per the approved sample and specification. Assist technical office for drawing coordination and maintain as built record.
Also have Management and Administration Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Prepare monthly progress report and issue monthly progress payment, and follow up payment collection process. Working with head office to maintain original budget and provide project forecast update. Maintain an updated record of construction variation and filing change. Measuring construction performance through preparing productivity analysis and reports for the major trades. Obtaining all necessary permits and licenses required by legal authorities. Apply possible risk mitigations (head office legal support, insurance, professional engineers, subcontractors, qualified key personnel

Scope of Work: The project consists of two Surgical Complexes each of basement +5 stores, each of 2500 m2 built area with all facilities and services and the total cost is 75 million $.
Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Supervise location and construction of job site office mobilization and temporary utilities/facilities. Review site geotechnical report, underground water level and master plan survey drawings prior to start construction works. Perform all necessary tests (soil, compaction, aggregate, sand, concrete design mix, rebar, masonry) in accordance with contract technical specifications and to be provided to the project engineer for approval. Construct samples as per contract requirements and to be used as quality bench mark (concrete wall, masonry, shoring/scaffolding system). Demonstrate to the Project engineer the construction methodology and site layout plan showing method of material storage, handling, loading/ off loading, equipment maneuver, tower cranes coverage, concrete patch plant, steel yard, and warehouse). Coordinate with the technical office in reviewing and coordinating the workshop drawing prior to start steel fabrication and construction work. Select qualified subcontractors and ensure material availability prior to start construction. Daily monitoring and follow up construction sequence and progress(survey works, formwork fixation and alignment, rebar cutting and installation, concrete pouring and curing, sample for testing) to ensure good quality and avoid rework. Using “check list” approach with project engineer( shop drawing approval, electromechanical coordination, filling inspection report, agreed on alternative emergency & trouble shooting plan, standby generator, additional water sources). Conduct daily progress meeting with construction team and subcontractors to follow up construction schedule, solve any potential problems and ensure effective manpower/equipment/ material resources allocation within working hours. Leading the whole technical and administrative team working for the project. Site management and company representative. Manage communications with stakeholders, Develop project plan. Manage the project schedule, budget and risks. Organize regular meetings. Issue instructions to the contractors and subcontractors. Prepare project status reports, Ensure project meets objectives and requirements. Examine methods proposed by the contractors for executing the permanent work and temporary works. Communicate project status to project sponsor. Maintain project documentation and approve contractor’s certificates of payments.
