Co-ordinate with Nominated Officer-Fire practical training exercises, drills and de-briefs to ensure those responsible for the safe evacuation of patients are competent to do so.

Assist Managers/Head of Departments in the development of local fire procedures.
Monitor the adequate provision, siting and effective maintenance of all fire fighting equipment, alarm systems, fire safety signs, notices etc.
