Responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the Group
business plan and strategic direction, specifically in the areas of corporate culture, succession
planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance
management, training and development, total rewards.
▪ Provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the Board of Directors and
Senior Management team.
Responsible for developing corporate HR strategy and plans for all HR related functions such as
organization design, compensation and benefits, and performance and talent management.
▪ Responsible for leading the development and implementation of the HR policies and
procedures.
▪ Responsible for gathering and analyzing market data to establish a competitive market position
and make recommendations as appropriate.
▪ Responsible for directing and managing the creation of a healthy work environment that fosters

recruitment, on boarding, and other activities
Provided overall strategic HR leadership and responsibility to all divisions in two corporate
entities in two locations with combined 250 employees headcount.
▪ Oversaw and managed the annual operational (OPEX) budget totaling $100 million.
▪ Managed the Employee Engagement Survey (EES) in collaboration with Willis Towers Watson.
The EES provided the blueprint for our action plan and engagement projects.
▪ Oversaw the development and implementation of human resources policies, programs and
services, including recruitment, selection, retention, legal compliance, employee benefits,
employee relations, employment practices and procedures, employee communications and
employee events.
▪ Developed and implemented comprehensive and competitive compensation and benefit plans
to maintain competitiveness in the market and attract and retain talent.
▪ Secured the award of “Top Employer” from the Top Employer Institute in Amsterdam for 4
consecutive years. Only three other companies in Jordan obtained the same distinction during
that period.
▪ Oversaw the activities of the administration department, including real estate operations,
facility management, logistics, outsourcing contracts, and public relations.
▪ Established the human resources function for Jordan and Palestine offices, then a year later for the
GCC countries, whereby area of responsibility eventually covered 450 employees.
▪ Provided overall strategic HR leadership and responsibility to all countries of responsibility.
▪ Drafted necessary business cases to justify and secure funding for annual salary reviews,
strategic human resources projects and employees’ development and learning programs.
▪ Developed compensation and benefits policies, tools and benefits and their implementation in
each country.
▪ Ensured delivery and integration of assessment and development tools used to support
employees’ effective deployment across Novartis Pharma.
▪ Provided change management support for transformation and restructuring efforts.
