• Prepare Cost Estimates for each stage of the Project i.e. Conceptual Study (ROM), FEED, Budget Proposal (BP), Authorization for Expenduture (AFE) and Tender Check Estimate (TCE) for EPC & EPCM Projects.
• Develop material take offs (MTO) from project drawings.
• Prepare the Bill of quantities (BOQ) after study of the FEED data, project drawings and technical specifications provided for the projects.
• Pricing for Materials & Installation Cost.
• Rate Analysis and New Rate Build-up.
• Assist in preparation of Form of Tender (FOT) - Price schedule of capturing price for the complete scope of works as per the specifications, involved in Value engineering workshops & provide cost analysis of the project.
• Prepare and float RFQ’s to suppliers/ vendors/ subcontractors, collecting quotations and techno commercial comparison for major civil items.
• Interact with suppliers and vendors. Handle correspondence for quotations, quantities and specifications.
• Evaluate & process the Contract Variation Proposals, Design Changes and Claims (Adjustment Orders) submitted by Contractors, preparing Company Estimates against contractor’s claim and participate extensively in the price negotiation cycle for Adjustment Orders.
• Prepare AFE (Authorization for Expenditures) budgets for higher management approval & coordination with project control & design team for raising Contract Requisition (CR) within stipulated time.
• Perform Bid Analysis and Evaluation of the Commercial Proposals of the Bids including the Cost Breakdown, Contract Unit Rates, and Cash Flow etc. and conclude recommendation to award the contract.
• Evaluating Contractor’s Concession Requests and recommending the Cost Impacts on Concessions granted.
• Preparing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for various Projects.
• Preparing Study/ Rough estimates (ROM) for any change in scope of work.
• Liaise with Procurement/Contract department for materials/equipments/contract prices and related issues.
• Reviewing EPC Contractor’s Cost Reports & Monthly Progress Reports.
• Assist project management and contracting personnel for contract negotiations and handling all cost related matters.
• Updating and Monitoring the Databases of Market rates.
• Review and analyze EPC’s Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) & Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) etc.
• Maintains cost database by entering any backing up data.
• Dealing with multi-functional areas like Estimating and costing, Procurement strategy, Cost Planning, Value engineering, Cost management

• Quantity Surveying and Estimation, preparation & checking of BOQ and rate analysis.
• Preparation of Budget and cash flow.
• Preparation of Monthly Construction Material Reconciliation Statements.
• Coordination with cost consultant, attending meeting with contractors & consultants.
• Coordinating and managing with various agencies, architects, planners, engineers, consultants and contractors, for effective realization of assigned tasks.
• Review contractor scope of work, accept, review & analyses contractor quotes for best value.
• Evaluating and Auditing of Contractor’s Progress invoices and certification of contractor’s invoices pertaining to all kind of civil works including services works.
• Preparing budgets for projects awarded and organize meeting with project execution team to ensure smooth job transfer.
• Assist the project execution team in commercial and contractual issues during the project cycle and liaise with contractors with change order estimating as required by jobs in progress and gain approvals.
• Evaluation of techno-commercial offer of sub-contractors, classify, compare & Negotiation with Vendors / Contractors.

• Quantity Surveying and Estimation.
• Certification of Contractor's IPC.
• Comparison table between Actual IPC & Tender Quantities.
• Preparation of final documents for each IPC and presenting cost reports for clients.
• Attending meeting with client & contractors.
• Reviewing expenditure statements during all phases of the project.
• Compiles, summaries, updates and maintains the automated estimating/cost database. Ensures the accuracy of the data maintained in the section, the filing of the cost records like Cost Report.

• Quantity Surveying and Estimation for Structures related to Thermal Power Project.
• Review the SCOW to assess tender suitability, resource requirements, budget / quantity estimations, risks and special conditions, prepare an executive summary, and attend clarification meeting with clients.
• Evaluating and Auditing of Sub-Contractor’s Progress invoices and certification of Sub-Contractor’s invoices pertaining to all kind of civil works.
• Preparation of BOQ and rate analysis.
• Coordinating and managing with various agencies, architects, planners, engineers, consultants and contractors, for effective realization of assigned tasks.
• Contribute to the team ethic and perform other reasonable duties in support of the business.

• Evaluating and Auditing of Contractor’s Progress invoices and certification of contractor’s invoices pertaining to all kind of civil works including services works.
• Preparation of Monthly Construction Material Reconciliation Statements.
• Preparation of Budget and cash flow.

• Preparation of Bar Bending Schedule & checking of Reinforcement at site.
• Quantity Take off as per approved G.F.C. Drawings & Estimation of civil quantities.
• Interaction with contractors & ensure to carry out the work according to the design.
