- Helped transform medical claim business process work flow from paper-based to online, improving settlement time by 60 days, reducing rejections by 90%, and eliminating a hundred fraud scenarios.
- Re-engineered a health care provider claim entry system, improving the ratio of online vs paper claims from 5% to 57% and saving customer US$500, 000 annually in data entry costs.
- Resolved critical performance issues with Number Portability Clearinghouse (NPC) systems in key markets, and accordingly published performance guidelines for NPC implementations worldwide.

- Conceived KPI standardization, defined metrics jointly with the Center of Naval Analysis, and implemented the official Marine Performance Indicators (MPI), a solution Recognized for excellence by the Commandant of Marine Corps.
- Refined customer requirements and implemented, within a tight schedule, a mission-critical business intelligence solution that was officially recognized as “far surpassing stated objectives”.
- Saved customer over one million dollars on a third party training solution offering by rightsizing scope and aligning it with organizational objectives.
- Improved the reliability and performance of data mart Extract - Transform - Load (ETL) processes, saving the USMC IT department 1.5 staff years annually in ETL administrative costs.
- Successfully lead infrastructure upgrade projects, creating a clustered environment for near zero downtime reliability.

- Designed and implemented software to discover and monitor worldwide routers and devices and proactively generate trouble tickets for possible issues before customers are aware of a problem.
- Investigated and resolved possible technical implications of migrating operating systems from HP-UX to Sun Solaris, and helped formulate an operational migration plan.

Qwest Communications, Calling Card Processing System, Virginia, USA
- Successfully lead the analysis and implementation of a calling card management system utilized by Qwest Communication to configure, generate, and activate calling cards.

Telcordia Technologies, Line Management Systems, New Jersey, USA
- Resolved a key software issue with the Oracle Corporation’s 1993 implementation of Motif Forms, removing a stumbling block that prevented the use of graphical interface at enterprise carrier systems.
- Enhanced the usability and reliability of the user interface which allows North American carriers to administer phone lines, helping the Database Administration System (DBAS) score 100% in customer satisfaction survey in 1994, up from 40% in 1993.
- Implemented real-time communication with call handling processes for the North America Line Information Database (LIDB) system which processes all land-line calls in North America, contributing to the LIDB improvements being recognized as Telcordia's project of the year in 1995.
- Successfully upgraded Oracle Forms software through various releases.
- As an Oracle performance consultant on an urgent two weeks assignment, successfully optimized application performance to pass stated specifications, allowing system to be released on schedule.

Halliburton, Nuclear Plant Management System, Maryland, USA
- Enhanced system to enforce adherence to United States government regulations for safe radiation exposure levels of plant personnel, allowing the system to be deployed at two nuclear plants.
- Improved nuclear plant safety by enhancing system management of employee credentials and medical history, allowing instantaneous feedback for personnel eligibility to perform a task.

Northrop Grumman, Military Base Information System, Virginia, USA
- Quickly resolved long-standing technical roadblocks and advanced project time line by several weeks, allowing Northrop Grumman to deliver on time in a multi-billion dollar project jointly developed with IBM and Lockheed Martin.
- Helped Northrop Grumman win additional contract work and was subsequently asked to bring in my own team and become a subcontractor for Northrop Grumman. The task was delivered on time and on budget.

MCI Communications, 1-800-Music-Now, Virginia, USA
- Redesigned application programming interfaces, resolving reliability issues that delayed full-scale deployment for several months. The system was the first e-commerce solution selling music online.

Unisys Corporation, Transportation Tracking System, Virginia, US
- Successfully oversaw the database administration and application support for a transportation tracking system deployed at two hundred United States joint forces' sites.
