- Saved a big deal to Reuters by customizing a ready-made web based trading display system.
- Achieved a better service for clients by developing a Picture Web Based server program that creates thumb nails of Reuters Picture feed, classify it and create and update web pages on a web server that stores data for the latest 7 days.
- Shared in design, installation, and project coordination of AIB (Arab International Bank) Font to back-office integration solution - using Kondor+ as front office system and RTP (Reuters Trading Processing) as back office system with TIBCO Rendezvous middle-ware connecting the two systems in WAN environment.
- Built infrastructure for 3000Xtra Thin Client central distribution using CITRIX meta-frame technology.
- Designed and implemented Cairo Stock Exchange to Reuters connection solution to distribute Stock Exchange data all over Reuters network worldwide. (Used ADSL technology, Cisco routers, Oracle DB, and VB)
- Market data collection and distribution to PTT then to clients’ pager machines using VB5, 6 (in Egypt and Cyprus).
- Designed and configured SSD (Small Site Delivery) Network, which contained 6 Central routers (Cisco 33xx series) and around 150 Client Routers all over Egypt (16xx Series), network is secured with access lists and static routing is used.
• Administrated Egypt’s In-house LAN (4 servers, 70 users) - Mail (Lotus Notes).
