WAREHOUSE INCHARGE
Provide guidance, Conduct familiarization training and on-job training for new and existing staff on systems and working procedures to ensure staffs learn and contribute effectively on the operations.
Improving the warehouse operations, processes and policies with the intent of maximize delivery service requirement/KPI.
> Oversee the general maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse area and ensure safety.
KNOWLEDGE IN ERP (SAP - MM/WMS)
> Managing the Finished Product from Production plants.
> Prepare the invoices for Return material from the customer.
Receiving the Re - sale Material and updating in the system both domestic and foreign
materials.
Generating Job request -Making Reservation, Handling materials Adjustments and blocks
into the system -Reconcile the Stock Transaction.
Making changes or Alteration on Employees Time sheets regarding duty hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES TAKEN
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.

The scope of the research conducted at Big Bazaar was limited to banashankari store was about "Employee absenteeism"
The Research titled "Employee Absenteeism" helps to Know the reasons and effects of absenteeism rate in Big bazaar. The methodology used for the study was basically to study the various reason for Absenteeism to determine the Target projects, Preparation of the Questionnaire and Distribution and collections of the Response. Analysis of the data collected from the Respondent (employees) from that basis I give Suggestion, conclusions and Recommendation to minimize the absenteeism rate in Big bazaar.
