Interpret technical specifications and Design Drawings related to electrical systems in oil
and gas industry, power plant & substation by using AUTO CADD or MicroStation (
Electrical Single Line Diagrams, Panel Schedules, Lighting & Small Power Design,
Lightning Protection System, Protection & Control schemes etc.). by using appropriate
standards such as IEC, NEC, ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, NG SA (SEC), BS & ARAMCO Standards by
applying safety protocols NFPA 70E and OHSAS .·
Conducting Load flow analysis and protection co -ordination of LV Circuits through ETAP .
Lighting & Control panel design for plant utilities and equipment. Distribution transformer
design and technical drawings approval.
Developing equipment schedules and material take off (BOQ) & prepare requests for
bids for subcontractors and material vendors. Prepare construction and equipment
specifications, including means and methods. Compare bids and recommend the selection
of subcontractors and material vendors.
Providing technical evaluation of all materials for 230kV/69kV/13.8kV Switchgear
Equipment’s including Power Cable to ensure compliance to international standards and
internal quality standards & submitting technical submittal to client for approval.
Develop Design Drawings using Micro Station or Auto Cad software and prepare IAP,
Shop drawings & Technical Datasheets for the design packages as required for both
National Grid Saudi Arabia (NG SA) or Saudi Aramco Use one-liner points to present the
details of your internship/part-time/professional experience.
Prepare Purchase Requisition’s (PR) in line with the approved BOQ and raising the same
in Oracle Fusion to get the management approval. Verifying the Purchase Orders in
accordance with the respective standards and providing manufacturing clearance for
lighting, control panels, LV distribution panels and distribution transformers.
Supervising site engineering team and assisting them with project execution and
implementation of appropriate standard's and safety practices.
involved in data migration from old platform to Oracle fusion and assisting oracle team
by providing required information regarding approval tree sequence and project costing
and tracking.
Implementing FEED process and cost control techniques to ensure the project was under
the budget.
Providing input to Planning department and creating a template for the the job.
Estimating material cost in order with the project budget cost.

Tested GE make relay C60 for Capacitor bank Protection.
Tested SIEMENS make relays 7SJ611, 7SJ680 for Feeder Protection.
Tested SEL make relay SEL 451 for Capacitor bank Protection.
Tested Transformer Differential relay P643 make Alstom.
Tested REF.50SG, O/C&F, BF relay P142, P141 make Alstom for Transformer Bays.
Tested ZIV relay 6RTV for Transformer Voltage regulation.
Tested MCCB'S & MCB'S for ACDB & DCDB.
Involved in Testing of 132/13.8 kv Power Transformer (50/60 MVA)- BEST make (3 No.'s).
Stability and sensitivity test for Differential Protection for Bus Bar
Tested 13.8 kv Siemens make VCB breakers (40 no's), .
Complete scheme checks done including Hv.Lv interlocks.
Tested Current Transformer & Potential Transformer for 132 KV & 13.8 kv.
•Simulation of SCADA, SOE AND ANNUNCIATION .
•Primary & Secondary injection for VT'S & CT's.
•Involved in testing of all analog meters, digital meters, power demand meters and all auxillary relays
