MEP QA/QC Site In-charge
Managing Team of Inspectors & Document Controllers.
Responsible for Material & Shop Drawing Submittals.
Ensuring Material complies to the project specification.
Ensuring MEP submitted Drawings are as per project requirements.
Reviewing all discipline coordination before submitting to consultant.
Giving advice to procurement staff and to suppliers.
Responsible for pre-inspection, prior to consultants final inspection.
Informing if any discrepancies detected & ensuring rectification before inspection.
Conducting final inspection along with consultant & explaining work executed.
Conducting meeting with consultant for material and shop drawings approvals.
Ensuring Document controller records all approvals & related documents.
Responsible for giving instruction to inspectors for inspection & tests.
Responsible for Method Statements for all disciplines.(Division 15th, Division 16th).
Responsible for Testing Procedures for all disciplines.(Division 15th, Division 16th)
Responsible for ITPs, Check list & Record Forms.
Responsible for complete handover of the system
• Analyzing Scope of Work.
• Approval for materials.
• Completing ITP’s.
• Making Record of every document.
• Communicating with supplier to prevent any inaccuracies.
• Reporting to QA/QC Manager.
• Responsible for all Electrical testing activities.
• Communicating with consultants for witnessing and authorization.
• Making sure for contract runs as per contract and finishes on time.
• Preparing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Highlighting all discrepancies detected.
• Taking immediate remedial.
• Arranging weekly meeting with site engineers for any obstacles and difficulties.
• Responsible for final Testing and Commissioning.
• Responsible for making of Handover dossiers.
• Member of Final Handover.
• Testing & Commissioning (MV/LV).
• Assuring Job done according to specified standards & codes.
• Conducting special test. (LIM, Faraday Cage, Operation theater panel, UPS. etc.)
• Identifying Snags found during inspection.
• Flowing up with owner to rectify Snags.
• Assuring Hazardous areas are safe during site work.
• Arranging training for Electrical safety awareness using test equipment & work.
• On Site Electrical Engineer.
• Reporting to Head of Department.
• Arranging Material & BOQ.
• Responsible for all Electrical installation works MV/LV.
• Responsible for BEMS wiring.
• Responsible for CCTV installation.
• Responsible for Network & Data cables installation
• Distributing Manpower and work.
• Notifying Manager for Man-hours required for tasks.
• Planning and costing
• Coordination with other trades.
