Role Description: (Handling Human Resource Operations, Recruitment & Employee Engagement)
1.Human Resource - Operations
Compensation & Benefits: • Responsible for sharing the payroll inputs for Mumbai Circle employees with the centralized ASKHR team in order to process their salaries.
• To validate the incentives proposed by the line managers against the standard incentive chart.
• To ensure the distribution & deduction of Sodexo meal vouchers on monthly basis from the salary of the employees & ensure the tax exemption on it.
• As per the "bring a buddy" policy, ask for the employee referral payout from the resourcing manager & update in the payroll.
• To validate the Variable payout of the employees as per their performance & rating at circle level.
• To address the salary discrepancies of the employees.
Performance Appraisal: • To drive the performance appraisal through follow up with the managers to complete the APD survey for their subordinates in the portal.
• To monitor the PIP (performance Improvement Plan) for those who has been rated as "poor" by their reporting managers
• Follow up for the completion of Mid probation, Probation & Confirmation of employees from their respective managers in the portal.
• To ensure the ASR letters processed by ASKHR team are as per the market reference.
Employee Reorganization: • Engaged in Employee reorganization of the employees within Mumbai circle (Internal Movements) & across Pan India level (External Movements) through IJPs
• Responsible for initiating the role changes for employees as per the business requirements.
Statutory Compliance: • Coordination with the PF vendors to process the PF claims of the employees including PF transfer, withdrawal, PF loan & etc.
• Drive the medical insurance process in coordination with vendor..
Database Management: • Engaged in employee p-file management & responsible for the audits related to HR records.
• Maintain the employee MIS at Circle level.
Full & Final Settlement
• Handling employee separation & transfer formalities & initiate the full & final settlement for them.
• To get the full & final credited to the resigned employees in coordination with Finance team.
• Responsible for issuing the relieving letters & the experience certificate to them.
Other activities: • Responsible for the background verification of the ex-employees
• Responsible for the vendor's payment through raising Purchase request & Purchase order in SAP & follow up with Commercial & finance to release the payments on time.
2. Recruitment
• Sourcing & short listing Profiles from various recruitments channels such as portals, employee referrals, recruitment vendors etc.
• Releasing IJP across all 23 circles against the manpower requisition & coordinate the interviews as per the eligibility of the internals candidates.
• Screening the profiles & forward it to the line manager for the further short listing.
• Scheduling the interviews as per the time slot given by the line managers & taking the feedback on their candidature.
• Responsible for releasing the offers, their negotiation & closure with the help of resourcing manager.
• Coordinate on the pre-medical test for the shortlisted candidates.
• Initiate the employee verification before joining & ensure to get the report from the vendor.
On boarding
• Responsible for Joining formalities & induction for the new starters in Mumbai circle.
• Ensure the joining inputs to be sent across to ASKHR within time limits & follow up for their hiring in SAP
• Supervise the asset allocation to the new starters for instance laptop, ID card, visiting cards & handset etc.
• Responsible to brief the basic policies of Vodafone to the new starters during the induction.
3. Learning & Development
Responsible for handling end to end employee Engagement & R&R
• Follow up with the function heads to get the nominations for R&R events like Megastar (Best performer of the quarter) & Touch Down ( Best performer of the year)
• To get the final list of the best performers from CLT for each function.
• To organize the events in coordination with the vendors & settled their invoices with the help of commercial team.
• Organize the engagement activities on the occasion of festivals & motivate employees to participate through sending mailers & idioms.
• Responsible for organizing the technical & behavioral training programmes for the employees to improve their functional & behavioral skills.
• End to end coordination to organize the "outbound" (a two days workshop outside of company premises) for all the departments quarterly.
• Involve in felicitation of employees completing 5 & more years of their services in the organization
• Birthday celebration of employees.

Payroll Management
• Being a process owner for the off roll employees in West Zone comprising Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, MP & Rajasthan, have to drive overall payroll management.
• To ensure the attendance submission by the warehouse in charge from all five states of West Zone to the respective vendors for salary processing.
