• I am currently managing Procurement department of Unikai Foods handling all the activities of “Procure to Pay” cycle with all local and foreign suppliers from various countries like New Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada, India, Pakistan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and few other countries from Europe.
• As Procurement Manager, I am directly involved in procuring various commodities like sugar, rice, milk powder, palm and coconut oils, butter, other ingredients like juices, concentrates, stabilizers, flavors, colors and plastic and paper-based packaging material like buckets, tubs, cups and corrugated cartons.
• Responsible for procuring all the goods and services including ingredients and packaging material required for production.
• Direct involvement in procurement of dry, frozen and chilled private label items like coconut water, French fries, cheese, cupcakes and margarine.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from point of origin to point of delivery.
• Negotiate with all major and foreign suppliers on prices, delivery and payment terms, lead time, etc ensuring product availability at best rates,
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on-time material to the production line as and when required avoiding disruption of production.
• Identification and development of new and alternate suppliers for all the products including key ingredients and packaging material to ensure availability of material for production and sales.
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
• Discussion and preparation of annual budget of Procurement Department based on trends, historical data, market and supplier inputs and submitting it to Supply Chain Head and Finance Department for their review and approval.

• Review the Warehouse stock position of raw material, packaging material and trading items with Procurement Team on a weekly basis and monitor the stock movement to avoid out of stock or over stock.
• Conduct a daily meeting with the Supply Chain Head, QC and Operations Team to ensure smooth production and product availability as per Sales requirement.
• Use all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team.
• Promote a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale.
• Interview, hire, train and develop team members according to Unikai guidelines.
• Assist and coordinate with Import Clearance and QC team during any audit by Dubai Municipality.
• Maintain procuring documents, files and records for the purpose of ensuring their availability as per the established policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Carry out Supplier Satisfaction Surveys and Supplier Evaluation on a quarterly basis as per the standards set by the organization.
• Ensure that Procurement Department delivers on cost reduction commitments through identification, development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Develop, implement, lead and maintain Procurement policies and review on a regular basis with the team and Supply Chain Head to ensure relevance and conformance with best practices and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies.
• Maintain an auditable file of all relevant procurement documents for each purchase order.
• Actively participate in all new product development along with other department of the organization.
• Carry out complete tendering and bidding process for leasing of vehicles required by Fleet Department,
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Ensure all invoices and documents are audited for compliance with contract terms and supervises contract closeout.
• Management of all internal and external audits
• Ensuring timely closure of all open procure orders, clearance of any blocked invoices in compliance with Procurement procedures and policies.

• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
• Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
• Full Spectrum of Supply Planning of Unikai Products’ portfolios of UHT Milk, juices, Ice Cream and Trading items with more than 100 active SKU’s not just for UAE but also for Oman, Asian and African region.
• Complete Material Requirement Planning (MRP) based on Annual Forecast figures shared by Sales Teams and then forwarding the same to the Procure Team for material procurement.
• Review the Warehouse stock position of finished goods on a daily basis and monitor the stock movement.
• Manage Supplies across 10 active Export Markets in GCC, MENA, Asia, EAR and CWAR for Unikai products and key account customers like EKFC (Emirates Flight Catering Services) as per customers’ requirement of quality, quantity shelf life.
• Coordinate with Procuring Team (for direct and indirect materials) for operational activities in Procure and Production Planning.
• Coordinate with Sales for Supply Management and Promotional Planning.
• Manage dispatch of Finished Goods to different warehouses in UAE and Oman involving Logistics and Warehouse Divisions.
• Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure supply of Finished Goods within the inventory norms and freshness.
• Prepare MIS (Management Information System) for full Supply Chain Division for UAE & Oman involving Planning, Procuring, Warehouse and Logistics.
• Prepare Daily Stock Movement Report in order to identify the stock position that will help in drafting a weekly plan.
• Convert Sales Forecast to real time supply plans at SKU level by factoring historical sales pattern, sales promotion program and marketing inputs to develop and prepare a Production Plan on a weekly basis.
• Prepare Daily Stock Coverage Report and submit the same to the Planning Manager giving details of stock coverage of UHT, Ice Cream, Trading items, which is forwarded to the Sale Department for liquidation.
• Prepare Aging Stock or Near Expiry Report on a by weekly basis to determine the stock position (in terms of coverage and quantity) of slow-moving goods/products and intimate the Sales Department for quick liquidation to avoid expiry and losses.
• Coordinate with Promotion Packers on a daily basis for packing of milk, rice, cheese and other products required for promotional sale from time to time.
• Carry out any additional responsibilities/tasks assigned by the management from time to time and completing them within the given deadlines.
• Coordinate with different departments of the organization like Sales, Production, Finance etc. to carry out day to day activities.

• Was a part of RAKBank’ s Bancassurance Sales Team sourcing investment products, including Unit Linked Plans, to different categories of RAKBank customers.
• Contacting potential clients of RAKBank, explaining the investment products including Funds Performance, areas and sectors of investment and their returns in detail and fixing up appointments for further discussion.
• Conducting full research on performance of Mutual Funds available in the plan and educating the customers about the same and assisting them with the same.
• Meeting the clients and getting the paperwork completed once the customer signs up for the plans and submitting the same to the Service and Quality Team for further processing.
• Ensuring the monthly targets assigned by the management are met and maintaining the consistency.
• Completing the documentation process and submitting the same to Salama ensuring smooth processing of the application.

• Prepare by-weekly Production Plans after thoroughly working on stock position of all products.
• Assist the Planning Manager and Production department to actively manage the day-to-day production schedule of more than 10 SKU’s.
• Research and assign manufacturing times and due dates as needed and documenting the same during the releasing process.
• Assist in issuing and tracking production orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor by Warehouse, according to the production schedule.
• Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
• Daily production floor walk through, fielding incoming calls from priority customers on order status.
