• Managing construction of client offices from concept design to handing over, occupancy and operation and maintenance.
• Responsible for managing enabling works project by defining tasks and timelines to all departments, lead coordination across all departments, managing cost and budget, and ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables.

• Managing permanent materials take offs, initiating procurement requests for all long lead and permanent materials for the project and material submittal/ approvals for selected vendors.
• Managing material controls of all permanent materials and technical bid evaluations for sub cons and vendors.
• Contribute to Project risk management register and key lessons learnt register.
• Contribute to the preparation of quarterly running forecast budget for the project.
• Design review and coordination for all temporary works for the project.
• Managing preparation and approval of shop drawings, reviewing vendor’s/ sub contractor’s shop drawings.
• Verification of invoices and assessment of variations and claims from sub cons.
• Evaluating and recommending contract Variation Orders, payments certificates and invoices for client approval.
• Managing on- shore structural package of the project, intake and out fall pump stations including precast and cast in situ elements, from conception, design development & construction.
• Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. .
• Design review and coordination of all temporary works related to structural package of the project.
• Leading and managing a team of Project Engineers, Site Engineers, supervisors & foremen for supervision of all structural works related to marine structures package of the project.
• Preparation of construction execution plan for overall package.
• Forecasting budget to completion and cost controlling during construction phase to ensure project completes within specified budget.
• Prepare project reports such as progress reports and cost reports during execution of the project.
• Managing project sub-contractors of different trades.
• Vender evaluation, procurement coordination and tracking for long lead items for the project.
• Assist in the preparation of tenders and project procurement plan and implementations plan for all phases of the project in close collaboration with the Project Stakeholders.
• Participate and/or drive vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.
• Provide input and direction with regard to procurement of the construction works, to ensure that the scopes of work and bid packaging are coordinated to meet Project objectives.
• Identify program delay issues in advance and prepare mitigation plans and actions to recover delays by working closely with Project team.
• Provide status information for reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
• Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
• Ensure the scope of both the main contract and company contract are fully realized and key stakeholder expectations are identified; communicate to project team to be appropriately manage.
• Ensuring construction activities are completed according to schedule and within established budget.
• Preparing and reviewing technical submittals, Method statement, RA, As Built Drawings, Material Submittal and Request for Information RFI, Test results and all Quality reports.
• Managing Quality control and ensuring compliance with all legal regulations especially Dubai Municipality regulations.
• Coordinate with consultant for approval of drawings and inspections & handing over of project.
• Monitor the weekly/ monthly progress of work through contractor’s progress reports at site and compare it with approved program and issue letters to contractors for delay in progress and open areas for work.
• All QSE requirements defined under company policy and procedures under Integrated Management System.
• Monitoring and ensuring main Contractor’s, Sub-contractors/ suppliers work to be executed in accordance with contract document, Authority requirement.
• Review and reply the contractor’s letter on claims, delays and EOT and areas of concerns as per the contract.
• To raise QOR/NCR if required and assist further to resolve the matter as per engineering ethics and project specification with consultation of SRE.
• Site Handover and Mobilizations of Sub-contractors
• Provide optimized construction solutions for procuring & delivering project in accordance with Time Cost Quality metrics.
• Pre- Tendering Design Review & design coordination of projects, review of design submittals and reports.
• Provide engineering inputs and solutions during all phases of design development and project execution.
• Liaison with procurement dept for preparation of contracts for the sub-contractors and procurement of various services, materials and sub-contractors. Evaluate technical bids & reviews vendor/third party documents.
• Liaison support engineers and designers regularly on scope, man-hours and schedule. - participate in the technical reviews and progress review of project.
• Value Engineering during design & construction phase of project.
• Developing construction strategy and preparing execution plan of overall project.
• Attend the site(s) as often as required to review HSSE, logistics and progress against the programme. Resource planning & resource management during construction phase.
• Construction supervision of all structural works, finishing, fit-out, commission and handing over of project, responsible for overall progress of the project.
