It’s a contractual outsourced job and performing all sort of accounting records upto finalization in a Visual Basic based accounting software designed by Finosys (Pvt) Ltd. as well team of junior to middle level accounts staff of the following units/companies:
1. M/s. The News International, Karachi.
2. M/s. Daily Awam Newspaper.
3. M/s. Jang Publications (Private) Limited.
4. M/s. Combined Investments (Private) Limited.
KEY ACTIVITIES
• Ensuring accurate flow of financial documents that every entry is correctly recorded/ entered.
• Verifying and recording supplier’s invoices and maintaining all the accounts payable functions.
• Preparing and processing accounts payable checks, wire transfers and other types of payments.
• Performing bank & inter-company unit reconciliation.
• Reconciliation of general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy of balances.
• Supervision of general ledger debtors/creditors, aging analysis and reporting to the management.
• Finalization of accounts including preparation of Income Statement & Statement of Financial Position in accordance with applicable International Accounting Standards (IAS) & International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Supervision of the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.
• Handling all issues relating to corporate affairs, SECP, Board of Directors meetings, and various committees meeting of the Board of Directors.
• Liaising with the external auditors on need basis and for the resolution of various tactical issues.
• Liaison with banks for credit facilities and working capital requirements.
• Liaison with tax adviser and authorities, insurance companies, leasing companies, SECP, Stock Exchange & other legislative bodies.
KEY ACTIVITIES
• Responsible of all sales tax matters, books maintaining and filing of return upto annual audit.
• Prepared sales tax refund cases under sections 10 & 66 in RCPS designed software and compliance of deferred memos and followed-up with the sales tax department..
• Yarn sales delivery order processing, preparation of sales tax invoices, maintaining receivable
accounts and preparation of stocks reconciliation.
• Monthly stocks taking of raw material, work-in-process stocks at factory & reconcile.
• Prepared & maintained register of transfer pricing according to IAS requirement and reconciliation of balances with associated and subsidiary companies.
• GL accounts reconciliation thoroughly and preparation of interim financial reports according to
IAS- 34 requirements.
• Any other MIS reports, whenever requires by the management for planning & decision-making.

• Supervised of all accounting procedures as well as team of junior to middle level accounts staff.

whenever required through tax consultant under notice of 176 of Income Tax Ordinance 2001.

• Monitored cotton parties record also arrived and un-arrived stocks with the soda.
• Visit at factory for checking raw material, packing material and process stocks.
• Prepared monthly factory trial balance, reconcile and take-over all overheads by Journal
