This is a management position directly reporting to the Group’s Chairman and Vice Chairman. Responsible for corporate finance and treasury management function of eleven group companies, with turnover of approximately AED1.2 Billion. Major responsibilities and achievements include;

∎ Successfully negotiated & executed sound financial transactions, including debt restructuring of approx. AED240 Million from several major banks.
∎ Establishment of AED40 Million in fresh trade lines.
∎ Successful debt buyout of AED32 Million resulting in financial cost reduction of approx. 2.5%.
∎ Handling a credit portfolio of AED550 Million worth funded and non funded facilities availed from eleven major local and multinational banks.
∎ Administered real estate asset sales of approx. AED74 Million. (From buyer & seller agreement to mortgage release and asset transfer at the Dubai lands department)
∎ Strategically restructured cash management processes to ensure proper and accurate reporting of company’s daily financial standing. (PDC/CDC Controls, Petty Cash Controls, Accounts Receivable & Payables, Etc.)
∎ Analyzed working capital requirements for all the divisions of the group and arranged funding through banks/cash pooling to meet the obligation.
∎ Managed Inter-Company funding, trapped cash repatriation, concentration accounts and all types of Funding.
∎ Supervising the credit manager to assure maximum excellence & efficiency in collection management for local and export dues, as well as having strict control over company receivables.
∎ Actively participating and working alongside general managers and department heads for business process improvements, and overall forecast and planning for the company.
∎ Maintaining excellent relationship with local and international banks for meeting group’s financing / banking requirements.
