I am currently working at CDU/VDU, , NHT, Diesel hydrotreater, AMU, SWS and Isomerization units as an Operations Shift incharge .
• Deliver safe, environmentally sound and optimum operation of process units, monitor Process parameters tracking & optimization, Plans and directs the regular checking and recording of various flows, levels, pressures and temperatures to ensure they are within specified operating limits. Reviews abnormal readings and takes corrective action
• Troubleshoots problems or abnormal occurrences and advises on most suitable remedy including partial or full shutdown and optimizing operation to ensure minimum disturbances to production
• Focal communications point between central control room and outside operators during emergency situations and normal operation.
• Provide work guidance to field lead operator /operator and coordinate their activities in keeping with standard operating procedure and standing instructions complying with company health policy.
• Monitor fire & gas panel and interact with fire control center during failure of any plant protection system.
• Maintain communication with Emergency Control Center, Fire Control Center, and incident commander.
• Responsible for the support of Company Safety, Environment and Quality policies
and programs, and carrying out specific duties and responsibilities related to job as spelled out in Management system documentation, policies, procedures, local documentation, Management System Manual, Safety Manual and other related documents.
I worked as a Dcs panel operator at CDU/VDU, , NHT, Diesel hydrotreater as following resposibility
• Responsible to monitoring & control over all plant operation (Field+ Control Room) and maintain the operating conditions under desired limits.
• Prepare production & dispatch summary and report to production supervisor.
• Take decisive actions and communicate with production supervisor, in case of troubleshooting emergency, equipment failure or any process deviations.
• Compiling and management of maintenance forms, records and data logging.
• Authorize and co-sign maintenance work permits (PTW).
• Develop and review the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Performs system start-up and shut-down as per procedures.
• Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis.
• Handles emergency situations and follow up emergency Response plan as per the procedures.
• Ensures a good handover from previous/next shift, reads log book of previous shift in Main Control Room indicating Operation activities.
• Responsible to adopt best and safe production and process techniques to operate plant under the guide line of standard operating procedures and IMS Procedures.
I Worked as a Field Operator at CRUDE Distillation UNIT with following duties.
• Ensuring safe and smooth operation of the units
• Process and equipment knowledge while monitoring production & reliability parameters
• Troubleshooting of process deviations and plant emergencies during operational upsets
• Verifying operating logs to ensure accurate records and monitoring
• Maintaining the quality of products as per ISO standards
• Preparation of unit daily summary and material balance sheets
• Supervising and managing permit to work systems (PTW) for the execution of jobs
• Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
• Enforcing obedience to safety and environment regulations
• Performing equipment isolation, draining, depressurization, purging and handover
• Preventive/Predictive maintenance Planning, Scheduling and reporting of jobs
• Reviewing and updating PFD’s, P&ID’s and SOP’s of plants periodically
• Maintaining precise and comprehensive status at the end of the shift
