New Booster Station BS-171 & Pipelines for West Kuwait.

Project Description:
The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) undertook the construction of Booster Station 171 project in West Kuwait, Kuwait.
The project envisaged the construction of three high and low-pressure gas trains to produce 6.62 million m3 of dry gas per day and 69, 000 barrels per day of condensate.
It included the construction of a gas dehydration unit, a liquid dehydration unit, tank vapor centrifugal compressor at three gathering centers, pumping units and the installation of three low pressure compressors, high pressure compressor and turbine drivers.
It also covered a pipeline network extending from gathering centers 16, 17, 27 and 28 to BS-171. The new BS-171 will produce 234 MMSCFP of gas and 69 million BPD of condensate. Four Gathering Centers (17, 27, 28 and the new GC-16) will supply BS-171 with gas.
Our scope of works includes trench excavation, laying of pipeline & RT-RP pipelines, welding, RT, lowering, sand blasting, painting, backfilling, CP, hydro test, pegging swabbing for approx. 200KM of length. Also tie-in GC was included in our scope.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Maintaining HSE records which included training, inspections of equipments, tool box record, work permits.
•Reviewing daily Lifting plans and related documents.
•Reporting and maintaining records of any accidents / incidents & near miss
•Ensure appropriate Medical First aid availability
•Ensure Tool Box meeting is conducted periodically as per schedule.
•Ensure proper PPE are issued and used
•Implementation of safe work method (JSA), method statement and R A.
•Preparation of site emergency safety plan and HSE reports in order to assist HSE manager.
•Conducting safety audit of site and report to corporate HSE auditor
•Liaise with Supervisors for scheduling and execution of the Services.
•Ensure that site works are complying Company safety standards.
•Ensure availability of appropriate Fire Fighting equipment, its serviceability and operation procedures
•Assist the Engineers / Supervisor to carryout risk assessment of the work / work area.
•Ensure company safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent and control hazards.
New GC- 16 E & I Constructions

Project Description:
The Gathering Centre (GC- 16) Project was undertaken in 2010 to process and handle sour crude, associated gas and water produced from a number of wells across 3 oilfields in West Kuwait. AKC was engaged to design, supply, install and commission the Plant. GC- 16 is one of the key projects in the Kuwaiti O&G sector and the largest contractor owned Early Production Facility (EPF) in the region. Production fluid from six reservoirs (three high pressure, three low pressure) is transferred to the GC 16 where it is chemically treated prior to the separation process. The new GC 16 exports 100, 000 barrels per day of processed crude, this is done by processing 150, 000 barrels per day of produced water, 75 million standard cubic feet of associated high pressure gas, and 41 million standard cubic feet of associated low pressure gas via one of sixty nine different pipelines.
Our scope is laying of trench excavation, cable laying, panels installation, connection, Termination, Gliding, Testing, Charging and substation construction including pre-commissioning.

Project Description & scope : 132 KVA high voltage switch gear maintenance, termination, testing, commissioning & construction.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Implementation of contractor’s HSE policy and plans in accordance with Company’s HSEMS Regulations & requirements.
•Liaise with Supervisors for scheduling and execution of the Services.
•Responsible for Inspection all Services specified in the Technical Specification.
•Group communication, co-ordination with all concerned people and prepare safety reports
•Evaluating and recommending control measures to prevent accidents.
•Ensure safe working conditions for personnel and adhere to Client HSE norms, prepare & submit HSE reports.
•Daily Tool box talk
•Development of safe work method (JSA), method statement, site emergency safety plan and Risk Assessment.
•Conduct Safety Induction training to all new employees and to subcontractor employees before employing them at site.
•Investigate accident and incident reports and report the same to management
•Ensure appropriate Medical First aid availability
•Ensure availability of appropriate Fire Fighting equipment, its serviceability and operation procedures
•Maintain an up to date of site personnel particulars and of all staff including subcontractor personnel.

Manufacturing of High Voltage Power Transformers.
Project Description & scope : High voltage Transformer manufacturing, Assembling, Testing, Loading & unloading, transportation.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
