•Responsible for Human Resource management and development, organizational development, training, and change management initiatives for a water utility institution (Lilongwe Water Board) with over 500 employees.
•Developing, reviewing and implementation of organisation and management structures; and establishing adequate staffing levels.
•Developing and recommending to the Chief Executive for the Board’s approval, policies, and objectives for Human Resources Planning, Recruitment Training and Development Programmes.
•Ensuring organizational dues process, fair and equitable treatment of employees by enforcing the use of relevant policies and procedures and according to staff regulations and conditions of service.

•Preparing Board Minutes and keeping custody of all approved minutes for the Board and its Committees.
•Managing the Administration Department to ensure that the services of the department namely; Transport, Administrative and Human Resources function properly to achieve the set objectives.
Heading the Human Resource Function of the Board with about 500 members of staff.
•Participating in the development and reviewing of the Strategic Plans for the Board.
•Developing Annual Human Resources Business plans and budgets from Strategic Plans for implementation.
•Managing the Human Resource functions and processes of the Board such as Human Resources Planning, Recruitment, Training and Development, Motivation, Labour Relations, Diversity Mainstreaming and Welfare and Wellness Programs.
•Development of the Board’s Human Resource Policies and Procedure Statements in line with relevant employment Laws.
•Advising Management on Labour Laws and on issues related to conflict management and resolutions and general Human resources issues.
•Developing performance Management tools and facilitating career development through appraisal systems.
•Producing Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Human Resource reports of the Board.
