• Erection of GIS - BSP 380/115/13.8 KV Power Transformers (502, 67MVA).
• Receiving permit from SEC, raising material request, coordinate with designing team.
• Make Technical Proposal on site and field change notice (FCNs).
• Make a Co-ordination with Civil/Electrical/Mechanical staff in order to complete the work within the time frame. To prepare activity plan or bar chart, activity working schedule and running of project according to given schedule.
• Prepare Request for Inspections, MIR and Quantity take off Sheets. Execution of 380/115/13.8
KV, (UG) 1200mm2, 2000mm2 Cables including (Excavation, Testing, Backfilling, Protection
Tiles, warning Tape) Duct Banks and Unit Substations according to drawing and Standard.
• Consultation with manufacture’s manuals to determine installation, commissioning & startup.
• Follow-up and negotiating NCR related issues with supplier and client
• Inspecting and following of work progress; GIS, HVAC, Fire alarm system and testing commissioning to meet the time plan. Revises site assembly drawings, wiring schematics and related technical drawings, to include updating and as-built works.

• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities, manage day to day operational aspects of project and scope. Review deliverables prepared by team, apply methodology and enforce project.
• Monitor the construction activities of Transmission line such as Erection stringing, Conductor pulling, Sagging, Clipping, installation of spacer damper and vibration.
• DC Auxiliary power supply system. Lying and familiarization with all working drawings.
• Bus bar / cable laying tray system etc.
• MV and LV motor insulation and winding resistance test.
• Testing and commissioning of control panel of 6.6 KV.
• Fair knowledge of fire alarm system.
• Installation of MICC cable, gladding & panel erection
• Installation test of OPGW
• As an Electrical Engineer conduct the inspection during Retrofitting and check The OPGW Pulling, sagging and clipping, coordination between WAPDA & contractor.
• Any discrepancies at work noticed, advise them to a good solution to solve the problem as per approved IFC drawing.
• Received the RFI from the contractor to conduct inspection of work as requested by contractor.
• Documenting all inspections and tests on form as required by the project quality assurance plan.
• Prepare Transmittals and send to WAPDA for Review and Approval.
• Prepare Submittals and send to Contractor. Maintain log sheet for Transmittals and Submittals Review the contractor Drawings.Representation of Company in project site meetings and liaison with the Clients/Consultants.
• Work on all programs received from planning division for each and every project to meet the handover of each project on time. Planned, managed and executed following turnkey works;
• Complete construction of 132KV/11KV/440, AIS substation S/S, 11 Bays.
• Complete construction of 220KV AIS (Two Circuits).
• To deal with engineering staff and man power activity, quality control of the projects.

• ISP, OSP installation, maintenance and activation.
• Overall coordination liaising with clients and consultants, contractors and vendors regarding execution of job and planning/ scheduling of site activities, technical specification, approval and obtaining statutory clearances.


• Carrying out the inspection and testing of materials in accordance to quality plan & to satisfaction of consultant.
• Weekly & monthly progress report to the management.
• Inspection of switch gear panel installation and cable termination and bus bar torque.
• DC Auxiliary power supply system. Lying and familiarization with all working drawings.
• Bus bar / cable laying tray system etc.
• MV and LV motor insulation and winding resistance test.
• Testing and commissioning of control panel of 6.6 KV.

• OSP fiber laying, Splitter splicing and fiber trouble shooting.
• Installation of Huawei equipment’s (ONTs, Routers, FATs, Sub FATs etc) inside customer premises
• Activation of fiber including Migration and configuring of Cisco Router, ONT configuration

• In grid station I worked as a shift engineer as well as on operation & maintenance.
• Worked in P&I (protection & instrumentation) section of 500 KV substation.
• Worked on substation relay protection.
• Worked on circuit breaker open test close test, contact resistance test and dew point test of SF6 insulation
• Worked on yearly maintenance of Circuit breaker of 500/220/132 KV voltage levels.
• Worked on Pneumatic, Hydraulic, spring charged & Air blast types of circuit breakers.
• Capacitance & dissipation tests, bushing insulation test, open circuit test, short circuit test, ratio test etc.
