•Supervision of the repair or replacement and re-tests of welds failed in tests. Supervision of protective coating of pipes and especially of the welded joints. Follow up the welding procedures, quality control inspections, NDT, visual and onsite inspections including Holiday testing, STOPAQ and welding inspections of welded and repaired joints.
•Supervision & monitoring the pipeline protective coating damage inspection visually/electronically and repair of the coating after lowering the pipe into the trench and prepare the report of the activity before backfilling.
•Prepare progress reports and schedule the NDT, hydrostatic tests and inline inspections as per required by the standards and the local municipal/provincial authorities. Reviewing the inspection reports and scheduling the repair work if needed.
•Supervise the aligning of pipe lengths before welding, doing the visual inspection of root, fill and capping welding layers, its penetration and its grinding before the fill weld layer is started. Inspection of assembly if it is properly put on sand benches. Witness the replacement the damaged sand bags if needed before backfilling
•Responsible to verify the site work according to the two week look ahead and plan. Making arrangements to provide necessary manpower/crew and equipment to meet the planned targets and progress
