Total Experience Around 15.5 from which 14.5 yrs work experience at Petroleum Refinery (July 2000 ~ to date)
Operation Engineer at PARCO, Mid Country Refinery, Pakistan.
1) Currently working as Shift Engineer Refinery (SER) at PARCO having following units;
CDU, VDU, DHDS, GCU, VISB, D-MAX, NHT, PLAT, CCR, KMX, LMX, ATU, SRU, Utilities, ETP, etc.
2) Operation Engineer (NHT/PLAT/CCR)
Unit Incharge of UOP Naphtha Hydrotreater, Platforming and CCR units in PARCO-MCR comprising following major equipments;
A. Catalytic Reactors: Fixed Bed and Moving Bed Catalytic Reactors
B. Compressors: Multistage Reciprocating and Centrifugal compressors
C. Fired Heaters: Fired Heaters with and without waste heat Steam Generation
D. Turbines: Condensing and Back Pressure Steam Turbines
E. Pumps: A wide variety of reciprocating and centrifugal pumps
F. Heat Exchangers A wide variety of heat exchangers
G. Vessels /Columns: Distillation towers, stripper, Separators, Receivers etc.
3) Operation Engineer, Oil Movement at PARCO- MCR
Routine and non-routine Operation Management of Oil Movement Section comprising of more than 50 storage tanks of various types, a number of pumps, truck loading gantries, pipeline transfer systems and other facilities.
A. Pipeline Operation: Operation of Crude and multiproduct cross-country pipelines through DCS, PLC and SCADA systems
B. Blending Operation: Gasoline, HOBC, Jet A-1, JP-8, HSD, LDO and Furnace Oil blending operation.
C. Tank Farm Area : Storage of Crude, Intermediate Product, Blending Component and Finished Product storage (LPG, Motor Gasoline, HOBC, Jet A-1, JP-8, SKO, HSD, LDO, Fuel Oil) Sulfur Storage, loading
D. Finished Product Transfer: LPG and other petroleum product Truck Loading through Gantry and Pipe line transfer to Terminals and installation of Marketing Companies.
Delivering Lectures and conducting practical to B.Sc. Chemical Engg. Students.
Training at Ammonia and Urea Plants
First Position in B.Sc. (Engg.) Chemical Engineering by obtaining 83.8 % marks. First Position / Distinction in individual Professional Years.
