• Developed a Data Warehouse System for Student’s Academic Data at University Utara Malaysia. SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence Studio Including SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) were used to transfer required data from SyBase Database System and integrate it into the new SQL Server system, this includes building reports intended for top level decision makers which allows them to make sound decisions regarding undergraduate studies strategic planning and polices at University Utara Malaysia. Furthermore, ASP.NET 2.0 was used to build navigation pages of that system. Moreover, the website was published on one of UUM servers to be tested. An evaluation measure developed and proved by the final presentation committee was used to evaluate the whole warehouse system and to measure final user satisfaction. The result of the evaluation was the system is 90% successful.
• Train Computer Centre staff in Data Warehousing areas allocated by the Director of Computer Centre and reviewed from time to time by the Director of Computer Centre.
• Carry out research and produce thesis which has the title “A Data Warehouse Dimensional Model for Student’s Academic Data at University Utara Malaysia (UUM)”.
• Encouraged the growth and development of research subject in the Computer Centre especially in the field of Data Warehousing.
• Undertook high quality research in Data Warehousing and other areas of computer science.
