-To manage and conduct stability tests for oil samples in various application and to record, analyse and evaluate the data.
-To compound and check stability of internal bases.
-To perform all perfume based applications such as EDT, Deodorant, Solid perfumes, Candles, soap, shower gel, Shampoo etc
-To analyse product performance and stability.
-To maintain perfume oil library
-To compound designs of perfumers and perform stability tests
-to apply perfume in various media such as soaps shampoo shower gel oil edt, deodorants, solid perfumes, bakhoor etc
-Good knowledge of ERP's such as SAP, Aromacis
-Hands on work experience on handling and maintainence ofContexa cobra( automated robot for sampling)
To manage IDOCs at user level to eradicate discrepancies in SAP inventory.
-Good sensory knowledge of raw materials and market products
-Knowledge of composition of bases
-Hands on experience of working with various lab instruments
-Carried training program for interns and new members for carrying out various processes in lab
Job responsibilities:-
To provide assistance to the R & D activities related to product development and coordinating with other organizational duties.
To perform laboratory tests/evaluations - olfactory and chemical characteristics of French & Oriental fragrances, aroma chemicals, natural essential oils and other raw materials.
Stability tests, Product Performance & Determination of the shelf-life of fragrances
Updating the fragrance library according to emerging market trends.
Prepare test reports in a timely and accurate manner in the required format.
Safe working in accordance with safety policy procedures
Development of new perfumery products : French, Orientals & French Orientals
Knowledge on market samples and identification of fragrances by olfactory assessment.
Evaluation of market samples & identifying new areas for the emerging market trends.
Olfactory assessment and evaluation of aroma chemicals, fragrances and natural essential oils.
New product development of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic perfumes, body sprays colognes and aromatherapy products; air fresheners etc.
Interacting with customers to understand their requirements and develop customized products within the budgeted requirements.
Continually explore new advancements and trends in perfumery products for building competitive strength and present findings.
Collaborate with partner and strategize with cross functional divisions including product devt; sales, packaging, production; blending and Quality Assurance.

Participate in proposing recommendations for QMS/ GMP requirements.
Coordinate with Dubai Municipality on technical and legal documentation requirements
• Compounding formulas made by the perfumer and apply them to various media
• Check and manage raw material inventory.
• Create sales orders using SAP
• Follow up on the status of shipments.
• Coordinate with plant on the delivery of shipments.
• Extract data from SAP and feed it to inventory management software.
• Create test samples of fragrances and conduct their stability evaluations.

• Application of fragrance to various bases such as detergent powder, soaps, talcs, bleaches, shower gels, shampoo, EDT, bakhoor etc.
• Maintaining fragrance collection inventory.
• Carrying out stability tests.
• Working closely with sales and marketing team on different projects.
• Assisting the fragrance manager on evaluation of market products.
