Main Roles & Responsibilities Carried
•Every day visit of the site at all designated areas of work and ensure conditions and environment is safe to work for the people
•Check all work permits and ensure all activities are being done as per the PTW
•Ensure TBT are held every day effectively and topics are provided to JPs
•Ensure all welfare facilities are well in place before the work starts
•Preparing Plan for critical lifting & monitoring the safety aspects in lifting operations
•Evaluate the use of suitable PPEs provided and ensure they meet the standards
•To plan and coordinate the safety awareness campaigns and safety trainings among the workers

Main Roles and Responsibilities carried
• Prepare & plan all required PPEs and necessary materials to be used in the project
• Check all the received materials are up to the standard of the client ADOC & NMDC
• Arranged medical tests and trainings like H2S escape and BOSIET sea survival trainings for
all
• Provide site HSE induction to all
• Inspection of all equipments and tools
• Ensure all activities are done as per PTW
• Plan and conduct Emergency Drills
• Site visit on daily basis and advise the working crew and the supervisors when required
• Assist the HSE Manager and the Project Manager in all HSE related issues and in formulation
of TRA, JSA and Emergency Plan etc.
• Advice and instruction to all HSEO in safety related issues and give them the location of

• Attend the SIMOPS meeting with the client and implement the recommendations

Main Roles & Responsibilities carried
• Arrange all necessary documents for the work force for actual mobilisation at site
• Arrange safety induction for all man force
• Arrange inspection of all equipments and power tools
• Visit the site daily wise and ensure all the activities are done as per the PTW
• Be a first aider and fire fighter at site
• Assist and coordinate with HSE manager in organising and executing HSE programmes and
all safety related assignments
• Advise the project management about the corrective actions required and the preventive
measures to be taken for all kinds of activities
• Carry out frequent safety inspections and to check compliance with the established
standards for continuous improvement
• Conduct training awareness programmes
• Ensure the competency of all trade work force like riggers, operators, scaffolders etc
• Ensure proper waste management at site and chemicals are stored as per MSDS
• Documenting all reports and certificates and assist the site manager in delivering the safety
reports to the client when required
• Bring awareness among all for the environment protection and energy savings

Main Roles & Responsibilities Carried
• Check the quality of pre job start talk conducted by JP and assist them
• Carry out frequent site inspections and record the unsafe conditions and acts on daily basis
And assist the site management to close the issues effectively
• Hazards identification, unsafe methods & near miss reporting and encourage the workers for
it
• Have a close monitoring of high risk activities like hot work, work near H2S prone areas and
in confined space, Critical lifting operations
• Assist in planning and preparation of high risk activities
• Imposition of site HSE rules and standards strictly and take necessary measures against
the defaulters
• Documentation of all HSE related issues, trainings, certificatation, and keep record of all
• Meetings with the site management and clients and suggest necessary actions for
improvement in safety performances
• Identify the areas of shortfalls in environmental issues and bring awareness in proper waste
HSEO

Main Roles & Responsibilities Carried
•Take the overall responsibilities of project HSE issues
•Review and submitting all the HSE related documents like Co. HSE policy, HSE plan, TRA etc
to the client for approval
•Check personnel competence and arrange third party trainings for all
•Site visit on regular basis for implementation of HSE rules and standards and identify the shortfalls for improvement
•Manage and discuss with the members of HSE team and locate HSEOs at different areas of work
for adequate HSEO coverage
•Attend all site management meetings and meeting with client on regular basis and discuss the
issues to minimise the gap between planned and actual HSE performance
•Conduct audits and inspection of the area, equipments, welfare facilities, camps and mess
•Conduct mock drills and make ERT of the site
•Arrange emergency vehicle for the sick and first aid cases to the nearest clinic
•Be an active member of the TRA and JSA for different activities
•Issue awards to the safe working people for motivation and encourage them.

•Educate the workers about the importance of unsafe acts, hazards and near misses
•Keep record of all HSE related inventory like PPEs
•Conduct fire and man hunt down drills at regular interval
•Inspect the scaffoldings and the fall arrest systems for work at height
•Attend all the HSE meetings and follow up the implementation of the minutes discussed
•Attend and ensure TBTs and assist the supervisors in it
