My role involves assisting in managing several complex projects for one of Kuwait’s leading companies in constructions .
Duties and achievements:
Handling projects from pre-production through to completion.
Coordination with the main contractor and other trades providing a smooth
flow for the project.
Coordination with the engineering department and providing technical support to the project team.
Enhanced the material monitoring system, by linking the projects and production department through implementing sophisticated excel sheets for
tracking material deliveries as per projects priorities and timely requirements.
Responsible for reviewing production orders and shop drawings.
Responsible for procurement and material requesting to meet the project's plans and priorities.
Conducting submittals, Checklists and reports for materials and installations.
Assisting the estimation department in conducting variations.
Managing projects budgets, cost control and acquiring monthly payments in ompliance with the plan
As a site engineer for AlicoEgypt, which is the leading company in the industry of aluminum structures, light steel structures and glazing in Egypt, my role was field
oriented and focused on erection and construction procedures.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all works and activities performed on site.
Organizing the work plan and conducting the daily plan after checking it with my sitemanager and project manager.
Checking the daily progress on site, reviewing the shop drawings and checking its compatibility with the site conditions and dimensions.
Preparing inspection requests and submitting our executed works to the contractor quality engineers and accordingly to the consultant.
