Perform duties of DPA deputy as required by ISM Code.
Executing duties of Company Security Officer ‘CSO’ as required by ISPS
Conduct regular site visits (Base & Marine Vessels) to verify HSSEQ compliance issues
Responsible for establishing and implementing of the periodical systematic program of internal HSE audit for Marine Operation Division, Vessels, Base Operation Division and Oil Service Division.
Ensure company Action Tracking System maintained by site HSEQ personnel each on his own area.
Ensure maintenance of the Company’s Document of Compliance (DOC), Vessels Safety Management Certificates (SMC’s) and International Ship Security Certificate (ISSC).
Monitoring fleet compliance with applicable mandatory rules and regulations recommended by the IMO, Local Administrations, and classification societies.
Participate in the incident investigation as required
Supervise the activities of the assigned site HSSE personnel.
Advice and assist HSE Management System head in the preparation of procedures and guidelines pertaining to HSE functions.
Prepare internal HSSEQ audit schedules for Marine Operation Division and all owned and chartered fleet
Prepare and conduct presentation of Quarterly and Annual HSEQ Performance and annual Safety Management Review.
Monitoring of all required Marine Operation Division HSSE&Q meetings, toolbox meeting and shipboard safety meetings are conducted and proper meetings documentation and records are maintained.
Maintenance of all Tugs and its Machineries.
Inventory of items supplied with the vessel.
In charge of all tugs and personal working in it.
Crew administration leaves rotation, sign on/ sign off.
Procurement of spare parts and consumables as required by vessels.
Record of items supplied and consumed.
To keep records of all major overhauls of machineries.
Attend the vessel during dry docking.
Liaison with flag & class authorities as per requirement.
Implementation and maintenance of the requirements of ISO - ISM code.
Submitting all reports related to the above.
In charge of the barges maintenance.
To ensure the barge equipment are in order.
Attending the repairs of barges at dry dock.
Presenting the regular inspection reports.
Full Inspection and condition survey of barge before and after each charter.
Follow up all class, flag and insurance documents related to barges
Implementation of Safety Management system in the office and On Board.
Periodic verification of Safety Management System.
Approval of corrective action required to be taken for various non-conformities accidents hazards, Occurrences, Defects & Damages on Board.
Conduct Safety Orientation.
Conduct Training Courses and Safety principles & practices.
Carry out drills, spot auditing & inspection of work activities in assigned areas.
Keeping a copy of the Fleet instructions and of each Master’s Standing Orders.
Visiting each ship at regular intervals.
Monitoring ship operation by frequent inspection of log books, ship safety meetings minutes, master’s review of SMS and Safety Audit.
Working as C.S.O
Training, Exercises and drills associate with the ship security plan.
Ensuring the ship board personal and understand their security responsibility in order to perform with the assigned activities.
Implement the ISPS Code.
Coordination with the ship security officer and relevant port facility security officers.
Conducting internal audits, inspections, control and monitor the security activities specified in the ship security plan.
Meaning and consequential requirements of the different security levels.
Knowledge of security in port facilities and during ship operation
