Monitor the performance of the whole network using network monitor software that monitors bandwidth and network devices health using SNMP, Syslog and Netflow protocols.
Optimize and tune the network by applying quality of service policies and locating high utilization and bottlenecks.
Troubleshoot network problems arise and make root cause analysis to prevent it from happening again and also document the problem in incident report for future reference.
