, in coordination with the Logistics Manager, needed support and advice to internal customers within area of expertise to ensure attainment and maintenance of set logistics practices standards
•Ensure efficient service to the business by setting work objectives and schedules for specific Logistics operations and/or processes
•Identify procedures and reports related to the assigned area of charge, suggesting improvements to support the ongoing development of Logistics standards
•Conduct feasibility studies on new brands/products in assigned business area
•Follow up, internally, with the local logistics teams on internal shipments and, externally, with forwarders, clearing agents, insurance brokers and suppliers on all issues related to delay of external shipments'
•Ensure logistics policies and procedures are in adherence to identified legal requirements/regulations
•Compare costs of forward companies in local markets and recommend best deal in alignment with the group’s corporate strategy
•Report non-compliance issues to the Management ensuring timely resolution while maintaining high quality service level
PO’s on the SAP according to the forecasted demand.
•Checking shipments Inco term \{FOB, EXW, DDP, DDU, … etc.\}
•Ensuring that all the necessary shipping documents \{Invoice, PL, Attached List, Legalized COO, … etc.\} and bank forms \{Form 4, Form 5, ... etc.\} are ready for both import & export shipments.
•Monitoring the Customs Clearance phase with our LSP at \{GOEIC, NTRA, … etc.\} interfering and attending meetings at customs whenever required.
•Setting our KPI’s with our LSP’s to make sure that we are meeting our targets.
•Following the releasing of the shipments, delivery to our WH and confirming with our WH staff after shipment inspection that it is received in a good condition to start the GR process on SAP \{Goods Received\} to adjust our stock.
•Planning and organizing transport and deliveries of the products to the customers.
•Analyzing the service required by customer and setting shipping schedules according to customer’s orders, truck capacity, and stock availability.
•Overseeing ordering and packaging process to optimize the whole transport process.
•Tracking products through depots to make sure they arrived at their destination.
•Receiving, verifying, and submitting invoices received from our 3PL’s in SAP, (Freight, Delivery order, Customs, Local distribution, and Warehouse invoices)
•Tariff registration & master data creation on SAP for each LCC and Sub LCC codes according to the invoice type.
•Comparing incidental cost with accrual cost every quarter to set up the forecasted percentage of the Logistics incidental cost for next quarter.

•Share in Coordination of processes & relations between Procurement team and the consolidation points.
•Prepare pick up requests by collecting them from the Procurement team & follow its collection with the consolidation point.
•Follow all outstanding shipments with our forwarding companies.
•Report the delays of each shipment.
•Arrange for any special shipment such as Hand carries & follows it up till the receipt on site.
•Analyze recharges to & from suppliers and forwarding companies.
•Review all the invoices sent from our freight forwarding before sending it to the finance department for payments.
•Coordinate between freight forwarders companies and procurement team and stores team for both inbound and outbound shipments.

•Sending quotations to vendors.
