Specific Responsibilities
• Assists in the development of the Project Safety, Health and Environment Plan (PSHEP).
• Monitor the construction activities against the requirements of the project’s health, safety and security management plan.
• Provides SH &E expertise and ensures project compliance with Corporate SH&E requirements.
• Provides technical supervision of SH&E performance, qualifications and programs.
• Assist and participate in SH&E training.
• Provides the project with health and safety and ensures the project complies with corporate H& S requirements.
• Check safety requirements in the Method Statements and monitor the implementation during construction.
• Check proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment.
• Check and ensure that all equipment has been tested by third parties as required and all operators have the proper permits.
• Check and ensure that all agreed safety standards and applicable regulations are observed.
• Participate in the investigation of all accidents and dangerous occurrences.
• Set a high personal example of Health & Safety at all times.
• Monitor the application of all safety requirements by Al Sarh Holding Group Construction team and report to the HSE Manager any deficiency for corrective action.
• Review the Subcontractors’ safety reports and produce Al Sarh Holding Safety reports for the SRE review and approval.
Registration as a Professional Engineer, and/or advanced Cisco certification (CCNP, CCNA)
Practical experience of ISO-14001, OHSAS-18001, 9000-9004 INTERNAL LEAD AUDITOR (Based on ISO 9001:2008)Quality Management System Standards
Over 5 Years relevant experience in design of Computer and telecommunication network for large scale users with knowledge of the full range of network technologies, which includes LAN and WAN networks and experience in CiscoLayer-2 and layer-3 topologies.
5 Years work experience in infrastructure construction, installation of ELV systems and solutions configuring HSRP protocols on routers, activating/testing ports; Logical Network/Switching.
Expert level of computer literate, strong interpersonal, planning and organizing skills.
Working knowledge of: Routing: EIGRP, OSPF, OSPF and BGP and switching (l2/Layer: 3) Elements: LANS/WANS, VLAN’s (802 1A. ISL) trunking, Aggregation (Ether Channel, Fast Ether channel); EIGRP, RIP, CSPF routing protocols; Fiber Optic (CWDM) Cisco Wireless Authentication software, Windows Cisco Systems, Wiring Standards - ISP/OSP
Daily Monitoring and setup of Production Procedures including but not limited to the following:
• Good line performance of all Production Machines
• Good Manufacturing Practices AND SAFETY HEALTH ENVIRONMENT (GMP AND SHE Respectively)
• International Standard Manufacturing Procedures of Nestle Products such as Culinary (e.g. Maggi series) from Enzymised Hydrolysed Protein Mixed (EHPM), Beverages: Infant series of Nestle Nutrients and Cereals, Family series: Nestle Golden Morn, Milo Brands and Chocomilo AND Nestle Water.
Routing: EIGRP, OSPF, OSPF and BGP and switching (l2/Layer: 3)
Elements: LANS/WANS, VLAN’s (802 1A. ISL) trunking, Aggregation (Ether Channel, Fast Ether channel); EIGRP, RIP, CSPF routing protocols; Fiber Optic (CWDM) Cisco Wireless Authentication software, Windows Cisco Systems, Wiring Standards - ISP/OSP
• Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Microwave Radio to establish a Point to Point Link to connect clients to the internet.
• Installation and Commissioning of VSAT \{Very Short Aperture Terminal\}.
• Monitoring the VSAT Link using direct software.
• Implementation of LAN using 3COM, Cisco and D-Link Switches.
• Allocation of Bandwidth to hosts using Dyband-IP Traffic Shaping Software.
• Implementation of Network Security using Cisco-Devices/Cisco/DS.
• Drawing Schematic Network Diagram using Microsoft Vision 2000
• PC Support and Helpdesk, Proficiency in configuring and administering the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP, VISTA \{Home Basic\} and Windows NT Server.
