MTB Project: Construction of the Steel Structural/Envelope/Cladding works for the New Terminal Building in Abu Dhabi Airport in line with the Budget and time frame. The work is still ongoing and is targeted to be completed in Dec 2015.

• Accountable for development of overall processes & procedures related to structural steel work.
• Fully responsible for the timely execution of the project and ensuring that Safety, quality and project completion date is not compromised.
• Liaise with the project management team to ensure that their comments & requirements are taken into account within the project scope of work.
• Monitor and control any scope change, ensure that all scope changes are communicated to the client and that change orders are approved prior to the performance of the work.
• Prepare and staff the manpower and equipment requirements of the project to meet the completion dates.

1. Responsible for the development of the overall processes and procedures related to the discipline work.
2. Advise of any technical aspects of the Structural design that may affect construction progress, quality and cost.
3. Continually review and analyze the construction schedule during the progress of site works.
4. Review and ensure that the shop drawings are being matched with the design drawings and resolve any discrepancies.
5. Ensure that the project site observation / inspection of the work installation adheres to the approved shop drawings and Consultant’s specification, good working practices, the construction schedule and HSE requirements.
6. Monitor/Report of any Structural Steel defects and advise the relevant solution for the remedial action.
7. Contractually analyze the modification works carried out at site and prepare the related Day work sheets for all the additional work parts.
8. Liaise with the other disciplines to adjust the construction methodology of the structural steel (when possible) and study the materials site flow accordingly.
9. Attend project, site progress and any works related technical meetings.
10. Plan for all the required resources according to the budget and the working time frame.
11. Ensure the safety environment is spread among the work force.
12. Review and analyze the rigging studies and lifting plans to ensure the proper structural erection sequence.
13. Develop all the RA (Risk Assessments) documents required for the related activities.
14. Review and analyze the cost reports related to the site structural activities.
15. Monitor/Report and Control the site construction workflow and progress.
