Joined Injazat’s Solution Architects team (a cross-function Enterprise Architects team), and led several opportunities for new logo accounts as well as existing accounts. As a Solution Architect, I had the chance to closely work with stakeholders from Injazat’s various LOBs and service pillars including: Infrastructure managed services, Data Center services, Cyber Defense services, Application services, and Injazat’s own “InCloud” cloud offerings.
I was responsible for the overall delivery of the solution based on a client’s business requirements:
• Translated business requirements into Information Technology solutions, closely working with subject matter experts and architecting adequate systems encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies to meet the business objective.
• Led others in the definition of project scope, plan and deliverables including cost projections and proposed implementation dates working with internal stake holders.
• Architected, designed and developed solutions while ensuring selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technologies
• Worked with internal stake holders on identifying and documenting transition and delivery aspects of the project to develop the technical scope of work and communicate to Account Managers, Project Managers and delivery resources.
• As part of the solution governance exercise, I proactively identified issues and risks that could impact the solution/engagement along with proposed mitigation approaches
• Provided input to the cost and pricing models and applied key financial concepts
• Provided the required technical solutions and inputs to the Bid managers and pursuit leads/sales/account managers for the proposal development.
• Followed high maturity governance and sales processes and procedures
Joined the Oracle Consulting Services Enterprise Architects team where I contributed to the enterprise security architecture through implementing strategies, reference architectures, architectural principles, and technology standards, and developing roadmaps, security requirements, architectural decisions and design patterns. Delivered security architectural artifacts such as high-level designs and solution blueprints. Ensured the enforcement of security requirements in solution designs and contributed to educating other architects and internal stakeholders on designing and implementing secure solutions.
• Created high quality solution architecture designs involving Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Identity Cloud Service (IDCS), CASB Cloud Service, Identity Governance, Access Management, Data Security, and Security Assurance across a variety of on-premise, pure cloud, or hybrid scenarios for major clients and prospects across various industries within the GCC and wider EMEA region.
• Engaged in Security and IAM strategy and discovery workshops and maturity assessments, documenting existing and target architectures, while assessing risk and recommending appropriate controls.
• Addressed and resolved customer security compliance concerns related to cloud adoption by communicating governance, security and privacy policies, and audit standards relevant to Oracle Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Performed evaluations of security architecture that included design assessment, risk assessment, and threat modeling, while applying strong architectural understanding of all technical aspects of a cloud solution including networking, security, integration, resilience and connectivity
• Ensured the enforcement of security requirements in solution designs and exhibited strong knowledge of cyber security standards, frameworks and regulations such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, CSA CCM, PCI-DSS, GDPR.
Became a member of a special technology presales task force, fondly named the SWAT team, that focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions in a wide geographical region covering the middle east, Africa, and Eastern and Central Europe.
• Designed and conducted custom assessments and workshops with both technical and business users to define and showcase the value provided by Oracle’s Security Stack
• Delivered advanced use cases that involved hands-on integration of Oracle technologies with other vendor platforms and cloud providers focusing primarily on Oracle Security Stack which included database security (Data Masking, TDE, DB Vault, Audit Vault and DB Firewall), application security (E-Business Suite, WebLogic), Identity and Access Management (OIM, OIG, OAM, OID, OVD, OUD, OAAM, OPAM, OIA, eSSO), and Cloud (IDCS, CASB, OCI Security)
As a field presales consultant responsible for the Gulf region, I worked closely with partners and clients, and lead all aspects of the technical sales process. I conducted one-to-many presentations, architecture workshops, product demonstrations, and orchestrated proof-of-concept activities for Oracle core technology and security solutions. I designed and positioned our solutions in a way that ensures customer stakeholders satisfaction, and provided direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technologies and applications to client business, using deep customer understanding to deliver competitive advantages.
Provided specialized technology sales and solution architecture support for the Oracle enterprise technology stack, and platform and infrastructure services. In my many years in pre-sales, I quickly got promoted from senior to principal consultant and moved internally between pre-sales roles that varied in their geographical focus and customer face time. Provided support for a wide spectrum of Oracle technologies and built subject matter expertise in Oracle’s security products and options.
Supported an implementation project for Oracle E-Business Suite 11i through performing applications DBA activities such as installing, patching, upgrading, cloning, operational maintenance and user support.
Worked in the US-based Electronic Data Systems (EDS) as an Information Analyst with application developer and database administrator responsibilities, where I supported multiple projects and gained in-depth experience in application development, SEI/CMM and high maturity project management methodology.

Provided hands-on technical support services for numerous Oracle technology customers in Jordan. During my work, I was one of the first people to gain the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) credential in both the DBA and application development tracks.
