I am working as HOD of the outsourced accounting and finance function for number of Chinese Companies Job description and responsibilities in current engagement are as follows.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures that ensure the financial stability of the company.
• Evaluation of investment opportunities and performed financial due diligence for different projects.
• Prepared Business Plans, Market and Financial Feasibility Study for development of local and international projects. Arranged the benchmark data for comparison purpose from international research agencies and advised about the project feasibility and detailed advise about the project development mechanism.
• Preparation of documents and presentation of case file to bank for arranging non-Funded based bank guarantees with minimum cash margin.
• Liaison with External auditors, Insurance companies, regulatory bodies as well as financial institutions for bank guarantee, repatriation of funds from/to China and other routine banking matters.
• Preparation of periodical and ad-hoc reports regarding taxation implications in future cash flows of the company and Sales tax Projections for getting exemption.
• Performed internal audits, identified areas for improvement, developed audit plans, and presented findings to management.
• Managed accounts receivable operations considering contracts executed with the employer, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Filing of statutory forms with Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan
