Established the Commercial Department for the VIP Rush Projects Division for projects that includes Marine and Land Construction scopes (Projects located in Riyadh, Jeddah, Red Sea and NEOM). I am accountable for managing all commercial, control and contractual matters for the awarded projects through various types of contracts including Lumpsum, Remeasured and Cost-Plus Contracts. Main responsibilities and achievements include and are not limited to:
• Review, comment, and issue recommendations on Contract Conditions at the tendering stage (including and not limited to the FIDIC Forms of Contracts) and lead the negotiations with the Employer to reach agreeable contractual terms for all parties.
• Manage all Prime Contracts administration activities from award through close out and issuance of the Performance Certificates by maintaining close communications with the Employer and handling all contractual correspondences, encompassing the submission of IPCs, variations, claims and all related negotiations with the Employer.
• Established Projects Monitoring System that is designed to Provide Budget Allowances, Trend Programs, Actual Cost Spent, Man-hours, Progress Data, Productivity, Commitments and Respective Targets to the staff responsible for projects, including Periodic Reporting System for the information required to monitor the performance of Projects and to report their financial situation for timely Corrective Control Actions.
• Established Subcontract Formation processes so that involved stakeholders can gain an understanding of the steps and activities required in the formation from development of the Subcontracting Plan through Award of subcontract packages.
• Established Subcontract Administration processes so that involved stakeholders can gain an understanding of the steps and activities required for the administration from award through closeout of subcontract packages.
• Contribute to the estimation activities of Major Projects.
