Consult to Site Managers to develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to procure materials / services at optimum value and deliver sustainable, year-on-year improvements in financial performance through improved supply practices
o Research the industry and global markets
o Apply knowledge of the vendors’ capabilities to develop supplier plans
o Coach internal Clients to prepare quality scope of work (appropriation process)
o Set supply goals and objectives; develop negotiating strategies for each product (service) and vendor. Identify the key tasks; determine the timeline, the sequencing and the negotiation approach
o Compile the RFP or RFQ and distribute to suppliers
o Manage the evaluation process in consultation with the business
o Execute contracts. Ensure satisfactory contract performance
o Develop leading and lag performance indicators (KPIs). Monitor and report progress against targets
To deliver high-quality administrative support to enable the businesses to procure materials / services at optimum value
o Procure of both goods and services as per the procedure for SAP PR’s
o Identify and clarify the technical specifications/ scope of work of the purchase requisitions
o Source reliable vendors to process the assigned PR’s, utilize COMPANY registered vendors
o Target the closure of PR’s which are more than 21 days to zero
o Save costs to the company by optimising the biding process, implementing proper sourcing, maximising competition and executing contract negotiations
Manage the purchasing records & archives in auditable form
o Follow up to ensure deliveries are received on time according to the company demand and PO date and pass the information to logistics and warehouse
o Maximise purchase from local suppliers providing good commercial offer.
o Encourage local suppliers to register in COMPANY vendor registration system
o Convert max items into contracts achieving targets
o Posses full knowledge of contract management and legal terminologies
To develop relationships with key vendors to deliver superior value to Company
o Know and understand vendors’ strengths and potential for development
o Educate the vendors’ on COMPANY’s needs and projected future needs
o Set goals and objectives for key vendors. Collaborate to ensure vendors develop their business in a way that meets COMPANY’s long-term requirements and will deliver superior value to SA
o Improve vendor collaboration to drive high-value outcomes for COMPANY
o Motivate and support vendors and stakeholders to achieve the objectives. Lead in a variety of contexts, including during change, adversity, conflict and success
• Collect, analyse and report sourcing and supply data to inform leadership decision-making, to reinforce the Supply Chain Business Case and to maximize compliance
o Analyse the industry and the market place. Identify opportunities for COMPANY. Analyse spend. Identify opportunities to improve. Prepare recommendations
o Consult with the Business to agree the opportunities, the goals and the approach
o Track, manage and optimize value, savings and total cost of ownership
o Ensure good knowledge of Business Warehouse reports
• Action the COMPANY Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) routines to maintain high EHS standards
o Action the COMPANY EHS safety routines

o Promote safety awareness among Supply Chain and contractor staff aimed at achieving zero harm.
Experience in bidding of O&M tenders for the Power plants (Gas Turbine, Diesel) & RO Desalination plant contracts, Hospital maintenance projects, Utility Maintenance Jobs, Waste water management system and Sewage Treatment Plants, Major water Supply Scheme and Electro-mechanical equipments and Civil maintenance services for various properties.
Job Responsibility
* Tendering
Studying of tender documents, attending the site visit/ familiarizing the site condition, Clarifying for any doubtful, inviting quotations as per tender requirement, budgeting / preparing BOQ. Compiling different commercial and technical proposals for tender submission and post tender negotiation till end of the contract finalization.
* Budgeting
Budgeting for new contracts after winning of tender and also preparing financial year budget for O&M activities of the organization in co-ordination with the Accounts department.
* Monitoring O&M Activities
Monitoring of all the O&M activities in both commercially and technically. Deviations from the contract budget to be reporting to the Head of department for remedial actions.
* Co-ordination
Co-ordination between the management and site for day to day activities like Planning (CMMS), Spare parts procurements, Sub-contract finalization, Preparing different types of Technical and statistical reports and assessing site staff capabilities.
* Business Development & Diversifications
Preparing diversifications programme on the basis of continuous monitoring of the market condition / trend for New Technologies and less competition area.
* HSE & Quality Assurance
Implementation and follow up of HSE and Quality Assurance (ISO-9000) for customer satisfaction by providing professional services.
Co-ordinating with Production and Quality departments to ensure the production of quality LPG Cylinder valves and accessories as per ISI and Oil corporation specifications.
