• Work closely with Group CxOs and OpCo CxOs to develop and implement Global sourcing strategies geared to benefit Zain Group and all its Operating Companies for Network, IT and Managed Services sourcing categories.
• Manage a spend portfolio of 1.24 Billion USD per annum for Zain Group and its Operating Companies in the Middle East and Africa countries
• Create value through project timeframe, total cost of ownership and contractual terms and conditions.
• Ensure that procurement outcomes within Network, IT and Managed Services Sourcing categories of spend are conducted as per companies sourcing policies and corporate governance in an ethical, transparent and fair manner, realizing best commercial and financial outcome for the companies.
• Manage a team of buyers to source products and services related to Network, IT and Managed Services sourcing Categories.
2. Major Achievements:
• Cost Savings: USD 100 Million cost reduction in Group RAN RFP, USD 30 Million saving in Jordan, KSA and Kuwait Network expansion, USD 23 Million cost reduction in the contract revision of Iraq managed services and USD 7 Million saving in VAS consolidation
• Contract Management: Review and Enhance signed MSAs and SSAs, Renew FWAs and CoAs and Renew maintenance and support agreements.

• Implement sourcing radio Network (RAN) and information technology (IT) and Digital Business (DB) category strategy.
• Manage a planned annual spend portfolio of AED 2.5 Billion (USD 680 Million) with key responsibility of sourcing radio Network (RAN) and information technology (IT) and Digital Business (DB) products and services.
• Create value through project timeframe, total cost of ownership and contractual terms and conditions.
• Ensure that procurement outcomes within radio Network (RAN) and information technology (IT) and Digital Business (DB) category of spend are conducted as per company’s sourcing policy and corporate governance in an ethical, transparent and fair manner, realizing best commercial and financial outcome for the company.
• Manage a team of buyers to source products and services related to radio Network (RAN) and information technology (IT) and Digital Business (DB).

• Cost Savings: Achieve 20% reduction on CAPEX and 15% discount on OPEX.
• Contract Management: Use of Master Supplier Agreements with key strategic first tier vendors to reduce sourcing cycle time.

• Provide strategic consultancy services to procurement GM and Directors to optimize an annual total spend of SAR 5.6 Billion (USD 1.5 Billion) and create value through project timeframe, total cost of ownership and contractual terms and conditions.
• Provide benchmarking studies for major projects related to Network and information technology.
• Build up STC procurement strategy.
• Participate in STC Global Sourcing program including STC KSA and the involved OpCos : VIVA Kuwait, VIVA Bahrain, AXIS Indonesia, MAXIS Malaysia, AVEA Turkey, AIRCEL India and CELL C South Africa.
• Build up Market Intelligence Unit (MIU) to provide procurement market researches to STC procurement directors.
