Performed all essential functions as required by a corporate retail store: display/tangible marketing in storefronts, merchandising, sales and goals for sales on a daily and weekly basis, store competitions between other store locations within both the district and the company, inventory, payroll weekly, delegation of tasks, maintenance within the store, reports to corporate for daily financial actuals, goal-setting, employee incentive programs, achievements, motivational management techniques, banking and financial deliveries, shipment ordering and receiving, establishing positive repour with a bevy of customer relations.
Completed an accelerated program for a degree in Cardiopulmonary Care and Respiratory Therapy. Required courses included components of physics, medical terminology, anatomy, disease processes, neonatal and pediatric diseases and complications, the latest in modern treatment and diagnostics, and 1,000 hours of required hospital clinical hours at 6 different hospitals. Additionally, I was selected by the director of the Respiratory Program to be the student program president, representing the college at a state-wide organization called the Colorado Society of respiratory Care. I coordinated fundraising collection and efforts, informational and public education event planning and execution, and reporting back to the various class levels the information I received when attending the monthly meetings as the college representative.
My collective experience at Weber State University included several courses in organizational communication, Public Relations, corporate sociology and multicultural communication, including international business communication. I received top honors in writing and rhetoric assignments, receiving a perfect score on my senior thesis, which analyzed a speech made infamously during the Second World War (II). Additionally, I resumed post-graduate coursework at the same University for becoming current in modern PR 2.0, social media strategies (Have certification from HubSpot in Massachusetts, USA,) and advertising and marketing techniques post-2010. While completing my undergraduate degree I was elected to the position of Traditional Student-body Vice President, representing the core of students to an elected body of students who worked closely with faculty and staff on a multitude of projects and affairs. I was selected as the only student to represent and contribute the university's Strategic Planning Task Force, a once every ten-year large committee of select faculty and staff; this committee reviews every facet of the prism in the University's budget and image, reworking the trajectory and goals for the upcoming decade.
