-Check all the information provided by the client (Architectural & Topographic drawings, Soil investigation report)
-Define the soil characteristics
-Analyse excavation’s slope stability
-Design the correspondent shoring systems
-Establish B.O.Q. & Shop Drawings (Shoring Layout Plan, Shoring Cross Sections, Shoring Developed Profile ...)
-Review the execution of the geotechnical works
Objective: Preparation of the M2 thesis titled "Flood Risk Assessment for Structural Assets" over one of the Lebanese Watersheds "Al Awali Watershed"
Work:
-Collect data through reading articles and conducting field visit investigations
-Input data into a Geographic Information System GIS
-Estimate the different types of damages over the structures in prone area
This internship introduced me to another domain which is the scientific domain where I was working on my M2 Thesis titled "Flood Risk Assessment for Structural Assets" over one of The Lebanese Watersheds.

-Review the execution of structural works
I was a trainee as a site engineer in a project consisting of two buildings of 14 stories each. The material used was Prestressed concrete, so my training concerned the follow up of the execution of structural drawings.
Courses in the Department of Civil Engineering focused on the analysis of structures (loads, deformations, supports...), especially on reinforced concrete and metallic structures, and on Soil Mechanics and retaining. Others courses included Bridges concept, Roads, Hydraulics, Surveying...
The courses in This Research Master concern Water resources and management, Urban Hydrology, Degradative and Non-degradative treatment processes of water, Impact of pollutants, hydrology and watersheds
