- Supervise and monitor firefighting system (Alarm pane, pump stations, manual extinguishers.

- Conduct first aid treatments and liaise medical treatments with local hospital.

- Create, organize and conduct trainings like: Firefighting and evacuation, first aid, safe driving, electrical safety, manual handling.

- Create the daily safety report for the HSE manager to present in the daily briefing to the CEO.

- Conduct scheduled evacuation rehearsals for the hotel’s staff and guests.

- Undertake weekly test for the firefighting pumps.
- Test the backup generator on a weekly basis.

- Follow up and compiling of daily, weekly and monthly checklists.

- Create, organize and conduct training sessions on subjects such as: Firefighting and crisis management for the staff and heads of departments.

- Ensure security incidents in the operational areas are reviewed and all corrective measures implemented to prevent recurring incidents.

- Ensure all recreational facilities are safe and complying with IHG and Jordanian standards.

- Carry out training sessions for staff and head of departments, such as firefighting, first aid, crisis and evacuation.

- Issue badges for all people accessing the construction site.

- Design and carry out training sessions for chefs, stewards and all food handlers.

- Set up daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for
stewards to do light, and deep cleaning.

- Insure that the chefs, stewards, and food handlers properly implement all HACCP sanitation standards.

- Document and file all HACCP “Filled Daily” sheets and checklists.

- Maintain a high level of on-site safety awareness through the delivery of effective educational and training programs

- Carry out on-site safety audits and inspections on a daily basis, and produce a summary report on a weekly basis for Head of safety and the project Manager.

- Ensure all scaffolding is properly constructed through conducting inspections and audits.

- Verifies that the inspection of machinery and equipment used on the site is in accordance to the Jordanian regulations and standards.

- Headed the incident investigation team.

- Checks on the performance and productivity of the assistant safety officers on site.
