As a junior architect working in the production department of a large consultancy firm, the diversity in both scale and types of project I have been exposed to is vast. The primary task undertaken is that of carrying the schematic design through the necessary stages in order to achieve a complete working drawing set that is to be issued to the designated contractors. Other tasks include the submission of projects for approval by the municipalities and following through with their successful completion. Regular site visits for inspections and approval of materials and finishes were constantly a part of my experience.
