The company (ISO 9001, ISO 14001), has built a reputation of major construction and design company of the region. I managed successfully (time&budget) many projects in fields of Surface and Ground Water Drainage (gravity storm & sewer networks and pipelines), roads and drainage, structures(culverts, concrete water tanks), maintains of river bed, retention dam, flood protection, water works / pipeline, sea drain and coastal works.
I am reporting to the Construction Department Director, and manage teams (3-5) of 8-12 specially qualified and non qualified site workers.
Role:
- Planning of Site Activities and Construction Schedules (daily, weekly and monthly) including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
- Site Coordination with all Contractors
- Monitor the performance of the Subcontractor’s activities
- Coordination and obtaining Approval from Customer for all Site Construction Activities and Project Documentation
- Review of Design Documents/ Construction documentation.
- Preparing site layout plans (Civil/Site Drawings), important details, if blueprints don't exist
- Budget monitoring and trend tracking
- Check site work to ensure compliance with the specification and drawings, ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
- Allocate responsibility and manage junior staff
- Site Progress Monitoring, Reporting, closing Bill Of Quantities
- Overseeing quality control, health and safety ( HSE )
- Participate in Tender documents
" Dolomit d.o.o." was contractor company for construction works like sewage and water works/plumbing. Because of excellent recommendations we had an opportunity to form small, but capable, Building Construction Department and complete Project Mediterranean Villa for a foreign investor. I was reporting to General Director, the owner of the company.

Work activities:
-day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
-main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives;
-setting out, leveling and surveying the site;
-checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
-ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
-overseeing the selection and requisition of materials
-agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project
-liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
-liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
-resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
