Job Description Part of storage migration team and assist the clients with migrations using the DMS migration tool or Unix (Solaris/Linux/AIX using LVM or veritas) Host based migration for block Storage and Datadobi for file migration from storage products Hitachi, HP (3PAR), EMC (VMAX3/Unity) array to pure storage. Manage HCL DC infrastructure with 2DC at Dontown NewYork (Manage more than 500+TBs of Data ) Storage Migration Tasks
• Planning online migration using Cirrus data(DMS) migration tool and Purity. As per the customer preference perform the Standard/Pmotion based insertion as part of the migration planning. Accordingly, the migrations/cutover will be performed online with minimal/ no impact to the services. Assisting the client in UNIX host-based migration planning.
• Allocating Storage to diferent operating system servers from diferent storage arrays. Zoning configuration on diferent fiber channel switches for storage. (Brocade, Cisco Switches). Troubleshoot Switch issues, Upgrade version as required.Experience in Provisioning of services, monitoring upgrading software & hardware, checking with clients regarding Upgrading, License renewal, both on storage arrays& backup Technologies.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Servers, SAN Storages, HCI Solutions.VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Backup, and Disaster Recovery. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experienced on NetApp Data OnTap cluster mode, creating Vserver/SVMS, aggregrates & Volumes. Data OnTap Upgradation. Worked on NetApp fi lers running clustered data OnTap 9.2, 9.4, 9.7 version & NetApp FAS 2040, 6080, 3170, 8040, A300, AFF Models, configuration of On Command Unified Manager Monitoring, Cifs NFS, Snapshots,
• Migration of Data: Between Server's, Luns, & Arrays using various S/W and H/W Products. Storage Provisioning and reclamation with Vmax Storage boxes (Using Symcli) Unisphere, Solution Enabler.
8+Years’ experience in the infrastructure design & Implementation, deployment & maintenance of the storage Infrastructure including the SAN & NAS Solutions Migration.
12+ Years Experience in DELLEMC San storage arrays Clariion, Vnx, VMAX, Powermax, Isillion & Unity Hybrid systems, IBM V7000, V9000, IBM Spectrum, HP3PAR, Pure storage and Backup Technologies.
• Design, deploy, and manage EMC SAN Storage solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess technical needs, and develop tailored storage solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning to optimize storage utilization and maintain high availability.
