Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the entire site function, providing leadership to the execution team with a focus on providing proactive solutions.
• Work execution under the Umbrella of latest standards & codes - SMACNA, ASHARE & NFPA
• Design review, co-ordination of activities, cost control & Follow up of MEP package with clients, consultants & seniors.
• Supervising & monitoring various installations such as A/C ducting, Chilled water piping & pumps AHU’s, Fire Fighting Systems like - Pump room Installation, Sprinkler, FM-200, Siamese, Foam Systems for Generators & Dry type for Cold / Freezer rooms.
• Supporting the team with all main suppliers considered in the Mechanical system Installations.
• Being involved in pre-commissioning Activities.
• Review Material submittals as per project BOQ Specifications.
• Review shop drawings & as-built.
• Establish the scope of work based on the contract drawings, specifications &bills of quantities.
• Prepare material enquires, with all required data, and making contact with suppliers for best quotations.
• Liaise with consultants in order to secure all local authorities' approvals.
• Obtaining attractive personnel personality to keep good relations with Clients & Consultants, in relation to day to day smooth operation and getting approval for executed work.
• Complete involvement in the third party for Testing & Commissioning Activities.
• Performing minor changes in installation work as per site condition & practical scenario.
• Assisting Project Manager in planning activities & in the preparation of construction schedules.
• Attending client & consultant meetings with the Project manager to review work progress.
• To prepare and to ensure the implementation of quality control plans & work procedures, in accordance with contract documents & Technical project specifications.
• Troubleshooting, and fault-finding during the commissioning stage to ensure smooth operations of the mechanical systems.
• Complete awareness of safety & maintenance on site for self & others.
