After having returned from Kabul- Afghanistan, I was posted as in-charge (Management Consultant- Business Advisory) of Shahid Ahmad & Co., Chartered Accountants, Islamabad Office. The aforesaid firm is the member firm of Integra International, a worldwide association of accountants and auditors. In my position as Management Consultant- Business Advisory, I am responsible to manage clients’ assignments in the field of accounting, accounting software, auditing, management consulting services and all such work associated with the accounting profession.
Since January 2007 till November 2009 and from December 2012 to November, 2013 I remained in Kabul - Afghanistan representing Shahid Waheed Younus Jamil, Chartered Accountants as the Country Manager for Kabul branch operations.
In my aforesaid position, I was responsible for the entire administrative and financial state of affairs including promoting professional cause and cliental which included numerous Not for Profit Organizations (International/Local NGOs), and organizations of repute from private sector involved in the business of Construction, Information Technology, Trading, Import and export of consumer goods.
It is worth adding that I had successfully managed branch operations by providing consulting services in almost all segments viz., audits, accountancy, taxation and consultancy (Business Planning, HR training, Systems development etc.).
Managing finances of Dubai branch along with gathering of data & information from branch offices in Pakistan and Uzbekistan for evaluation and report directly to CEO for all weaknesses in internal controls and policies and procedures. Recommendations and Update for policies and internal controls for betterment in the system.
Deal with clients to provide them Auditing and Accounting Services in Pakistan aa well as in Afghanistan during my tenure in team work along with individual assignments.
